Waves of destruction radiated outward, leveling forests, evaporating lakes, and turning mountains into rubble. The very air grew thin, unable to sustain life in the face of such overwhelming power. The sky darkened as ash and debris were thrown into the atmosphere, blocking out the sun. For hours they fought, neither giving ground. Their movements were a deadly dance, a ballet of destruction.
