After getting engaged to a man she's never met. She runs down the end of the corridor, to a crossroad. "Right or left?" The footsteps get closer. "Was the exit right or left?!" She thinks to herself, as the voice once again calls out to her. "Caroline! Come out, come out, wherever you are!" "Right!" She turns down the right corridor and runs as fast as she's able. As she gets closer, a bright light shines through. Causing her to almost leap with joy, she had chosen the right way! Or at least that's what she had thought. As she gets closer she realizes that this is in fact a dead end. The light was coming from a window; taking up the majority of the wall. She turns to go back, but she's met with a familiar pair of vibrant, purple eyes, staring back at her from the end of the hallway. She freezes in fear, as the figure grins, and calmly walks towards her. She soon finds that maybe no one will come and she should start trying to survive the best she can. Will this brave soul find true happiness?

El 1 de diciembre de 2022 el jurado del Concurso Nacional de Cuento "Hubert Lanssiers 2022", compuesto por los escritores Miluska Benavides, Leslie Guevara, Alejandro Neyra, Gustavo Rodríguez y Miguel Ruíz Effio, se reunió para elegir a los ganadores y menciones honrosas de dicho concurso. Se recibieron 151 relatos a nivel nacional, y se contó con un comité lector integrado por 80 voluntarios designados por Machucabotons Escuela de Escritura, para la lectura y preelección. Hecha la apertura de los sobres, la relación de ganadores quedó establecida de esta forma: Primer premio "Camel - Pulp" por Ostracista Seudónimo de EDWIN WALTER TOVAR CHUMPITAZ Segundo premio "Los cobardes no van al cielo" por Aaron Champi Seudónimo de EDWIN WALTER TOVAR CHUMPITAZ Se hace notar que es la primera vez en la historia del concurso que un participante recibe en simultáneo el primer y segundo premio. El jurado interpreta este hecho como un testimonio de talento literario y felicita el autor.
