Dave, introverted and harboring a deep resentment for how others treat him, receives the power to use real-life “hacks” from video games, enabling him to manipulate reality in ways only he understands. Jake, struggling to hold the group together, discovers his raw physical abilities, but soon finds a darker power awakening within him—the ability to steal and harness the abilities of the heroes he kills. As they navigate their newfound powers, the trio tries to lead normal lives at school, but the weight of their abilities soon pulls them into the chaotic world of superheroes. Testing their limits in secret, their lives are thrown into disarray when they are discovered by the Hero Management, an organization tasked with regulating superpowered beings. As the three friends are forced to choose different paths, their powers begin to tear at the bonds of friendship. Aaron struggles to remain good-hearted, Dave starts to believe in using his powers to change the world, while Jake’s growing rage leads him on a deadly rampage. Caught between the demands of their powers and the collapse of their friendship, the trio will have to face the ultimate question: Will they become heroes, villains, or something else entirely? As tensions rise, friendships fracture, and the line between good and evil blurs, their journey will shape the fate of their world and determine whether their powers are a gift or a curse.

Meanwhile, little Yunyun follows her protagonist aunt, accidentally kicking off the base-building plot and helping create a super base where food and clothing are abundant, even in the apocalypse. Step by step, the Bai family rises to power. In the end, Yunyun is dumbfounded: [Wait… wasn't I supposed to be cannon fodder?! Why does this feel like a "pampered lucky baby" story?!] The Bai family: Their little Yunyun is, indeed, their precious lucky baby.
