El 1 de diciembre de 2022 el jurado del Concurso Nacional de Cuento "Hubert Lanssiers 2022", compuesto por los escritores Miluska Benavides, Leslie Guevara, Alejandro Neyra, Gustavo Rodríguez y Miguel Ruíz Effio, se reunió para elegir a los ganadores y menciones honrosas de dicho concurso. Se recibieron 151 relatos a nivel nacional, y se contó con un comité lector integrado por 80 voluntarios designados por Machucabotons Escuela de Escritura, para la lectura y preelección. Hecha la apertura de los sobres, la relación de ganadores quedó establecida de esta forma: Primer premio "Camel - Pulp" por Ostracista Seudónimo de EDWIN WALTER TOVAR CHUMPITAZ Segundo premio "Los cobardes no van al cielo" por Aaron Champi Seudónimo de EDWIN WALTER TOVAR CHUMPITAZ Se hace notar que es la primera vez en la historia del concurso que un participante recibe en simultáneo el primer y segundo premio. El jurado interpreta este hecho como un testimonio de talento literario y felicita el autor.

In conclusion, the real lesson we can learn from werewolves is that when it comes to the survival of the planet, it’s better to risk a few sharp teeth and an extra dose of anger than to sit on the couch watching a documentary about how turtles are having it harder than a marathon runner in an obstacle course. So the next time you hear a howl in the moonlight, remember: it’s just a werewolf concerned about the environment, wondering where the last tree he loved to mark his territory went! Which, by the way, is a fantastic metaphor for our fight against planetary destruction: that, just like a werewolf, we must be fierce, hairy, and willing to rip the face off anyone who dares to threaten the living Earth!
