How do you start writing a 'touhou crossover fanfic'?
Well, when starting a 'touhou crossover fanfic', research is key. Know all about the Touhou series, its characters, their relationships, and the overall lore. Then, pick the other franchise or concept for the crossover. Say you choose 'Star Wars'. Now, consider how the Touhou characters would fit into the Star Wars galaxy. Are they Jedi? Sith? Or something else entirely? Outline your story. Maybe start with a situation where a Touhou character is accidentally transported to the Star Wars universe. Then build from there, showing their reactions, how they interact with the Star Wars characters, and what adventures they will have.

What are the main themes in 'rwby touhou crossover fanfiction'?
Another theme is cultural exchange. The RWBY world has its own set of values, cultures, and technologies, and Touhou has its own very distinct world of youkai and magic. Fanfictions often show how the characters from each world learn about and adapt to the other's culture. For example, a RWBY character might be fascinated by the way magic is used in Touhou. It can be really interesting to see how they incorporate elements of each other's worlds into their own understanding. And this can also lead to some character growth as they expand their perspectives.
