The Gospel of John

The Gospel of John

The Gospel according to John is quite different in character from the three synoptic gospels. It is highly literary and symbolic. It does not follow the same order or reproduce the same stories as the synoptic gospels. To a much greater degree, it is the product of a developed theological reflection and grows out of a different circle and tradition. It was probably written in the 90s of the first century. The Gospel of John begins with a magnificent prologue, which states many of the major themes and motifs of the gospel, much as an overture does for a musical work. The prologue proclaims Jesus as the preexistent and incarnate Word of God who has revealed the Father to us. The rest of the first chapter forms the introduction to the gospel proper and consists of the Baptist’s testimony about Jesus (there is no baptism of Jesus in this gospel—John simply points him out as the Lamb of God), followed by stories of the call of the first disciples, in which various titles predicated of Jesus in the early church are presented. The gospel narrative contains a series of “signs”—the gospel’s word for the wondrous deeds of Jesus. The author is primarily interested in the significance of these deeds, and so interprets them for the reader by various reflections, narratives, and discourses. The first sign is the transformation of water into wine at Cana (Jn 2:1–11); this represents the replacement of the Jewish ceremonial washings and symbolizes the entire creative and transforming work of Jesus. The second sign, the cure of the royal official’s son (Jn 4:46–54) simply by the word of Jesus at a distance, signifies the power of Jesus’ life-giving word. The same theme is further developed by other signs, probably for a total of seven. The third sign, the cure of the paralytic at the pool with five porticoes in chap. 5, continues the theme of water offering newness of life. In the preceding chapter, to the woman at the well in Samaria Jesus had offered living water springing up to eternal life, a symbol of the revelation that Jesus brings; here Jesus’ life-giving word replaces the water of the pool that failed to bring life. Jn 6 contains two signs, the multiplication of loaves and the walking on the waters of the Sea of Galilee. These signs are connected much as the manna and the crossing of the Red Sea are in the Passover narrative and symbolize a new exodus. The multiplication of the loaves is interpreted for the reader by the discourse that follows, where the bread of life is used first as a figure for the revelation of God in Jesus and then for the Eucharist. After a series of dialogues reflecting Jesus’ debates with the Jewish authorities at the Feast of Tabernacles in Jn 7; 8, the sixth sign is presented in Jn 9, the sign of the young man born blind. This is a narrative illustration of the theme of conflict in the preceding two chapters; it proclaims the triumph of light over darkness, as Jesus is presented as the Light of the world. This is interpreted by a narrative of controversy between the Pharisees and the young man who had been given his sight by Jesus, ending with a discussion of spiritual blindness and spelling out the symbolic meaning of the cure. And finally, the seventh sign, the raising of Lazarus in chap. 11, is the climax of signs. Lazarus is presented as a token of the real life that Jesus, the Resurrection and the Life, who will now ironically be put to death because of his gift of life to Lazarus, will give to all who believe in him once he has been raised from the dead.

Chery mirrors loose
If the Chery mirror is loose, the solution is as follows: 1. If the fixing part of the rearview mirror is loose, glue it; if the rearview mirror is loose, tighten the screw. Most cars had loose screws at the rearview mirror ball head, allowing the owner to adjust the tightness of the rearview mirror. 2. It could be tightened with a wrench. If the rearview mirror shaft was loose, one could peel off the plastic cover of the rearview mirror and see the floating nut inside. One hand would hold the rearview mirror rod, and the other hand would tighten the nut with a wrench. 3. You can also take a wrench first, unscrew the screw on the rearview mirror to loosen it, then hold the rearview mirror with your hand and rotate it counterclockwise until the rearview mirror exits. Then put it on the ground to check the degree of damage. Small problems can be repaired, but major problems need to be replaced. <a href="/?from=ask_words" style="color:red" target="_blank">Read more exciting novels for free</a>

Female Lead of Mirrors
I recommend "Ghosts and Girls and Manga", the author is 2D. The story of Tsukiya being haunted by a ghost and trying to cross over was a light daily story, like a supernatural urban/professional novel. When Spectre was alive, he was a man who had transmigrated into a girl. Spectre was like a nanny. The writing was good, and the setting was interesting. Although it was miscategorized as a supernatural being, it was very good. There was no male lead, and the plot was relaxed and warm. It was a two-dimensional romantic story. Her Left Eye is Unusual, by Shu Jiao. The female protagonist's left eye could see ghosts. She went from weak to strong. Her three views were right. The story was closely related to social hot topics. The plot was compact, and the female protagonist's character was likable, but there might be a problem of emphasizing the distrust of her companions to highlight her character. Overall, it was a very good supernatural novel, suitable for readers who liked this kind of novel. The Bizarre Chronicle was written by the Song of Thorns. The female lead, He Qing, was a college student with Yin Yang eyes. There was no emotional scene without the male lead. It was strung together by small stories, the rhythm was tight, and the hidden lines were well buried. Although there were occasional hiccups, it was generally exciting. It was a good supernatural novel for female channels. <a href="/?from=ask_words" style="color:red" target="_blank">Read more exciting novels for free</a>

The role of mirrors in movies
In movies, mirrors had many uses: 1. ** Expands space **: The mirror can allow the character to establish a new connection with the surrounding space, dividing and expanding the space. It could add new space, display three-dimensional space beyond the two-dimensional image, and change the composition of the movie screen. For example, in the movie "Servant," the reflection of the mirror allowed the whole room to be seen while adding important characters. 2. ** Character Doppelganger **: The character in the movie can see himself through the mirror, and the audience can also see the character and its mirror doppelganger. This could be a projection of the character's fluctuating psychology. The doppelganger in the mirror might have a different relationship with the real body, such as the real body gradually blurring and the doppelganger becoming clearer and clearer, or even entangled with the real body. Some movies also used this to create the aesthetic effect of "doppelganger", expanding the physical space of the picture and extending the inner world of the character, such as "Enter the Dragon". In addition, there was also the appearance of the "mirror abyss", which was used to multiply the background in Inception. The "mirror abyss" in Citizen Kane was like a bottomless pit. 3. ** Light Reflection **: The reflection effect produced by the interaction between the mirror and the sunlight can reflect other functions in the movie. For example, in "Witnesses for the Trial," the character used the reflection of a monocle to observe the psychological reactions of others. At the end, the character also used the reflection of the monocle to guide the character's actions. 4. [Create a sense of horror: Mirrors have the ability to transcend time and space. Their ability to absorb souls is even thought to be able to absorb souls, so they are often used in horror movies.] For example, in The Shining, when the character looked in the mirror, the image she saw changed from a beautiful woman to a rotten old woman, creating a terrifying atmosphere. 5. [Prevision: The mirror has a "prediction" function, allowing the audience to perceive the next action of the plot before the character.] For example, in "Break Free from the Chains," the black figure reflected in the car window was not noticed by the characters in the play, which gave the audience an uneasy premonition and increased the suspense and tension. 6. ** Reflects the heart ** - ** Distorted personality **: The mirror can reflect the character's multiple personalities and achieve the effect of distorting the character's personality. For example, in "The Mechanic," the character's twisted personality was presented through the thin image of the character standing in front of the mirror. - Self-awareness: The character can get lost in the self-image through the mirror and constantly self-examine. The audience can also observe the subtle changes in the character's expression through the mirror. For example, in the King of Comedy, the male lead repeatedly looked at the mirror and shot a special meaning. 7. ** Create beauty **: Mirrors can create the beauty of physical space or clones. For example, in "In the Mood for Love," mirrors are used to separate the upper and lower bodies of the characters to reflect the intimate scenes, conveying the feeling of being exposed and embarrassed. 8. [Space-Time Manipulation: The mirror can blur the boundary between reality and fantasy, complete the transformation of different times in the same space (such as the present and the future or the past and the present), and give the paragraph a dreamy color.] At the same time, through long shots, the same plot in the same space but at different times inside and outside the mirror could be shown, making the lens design smoother and more coherent, and it could also better express the emotions of the characters, such as the related plot in Charlotte's Trouble. 9. ** Extending the inner world of the movie characters and enhancing the narrative function **: Mirrors can not only expand the physical space of the movie frame, but also extend the inner world of the movie characters, blurring the boundary between reality and illusion, and enhancing the narrative function of the movie. For example, the mirror lens in the movie "The Eleventh Chapter". <a href="/?from=ask_words" style="color:red" target="_blank">Read more exciting novels for free</a>

Protective aluminum mirrors
Protective aluminum mirrors are divided into bare aluminum film mirrors and protective aluminum film mirrors. The protective aluminum film mirror was coated with a layer of MGF2 or SiO2 on the aluminum film, which helped to protect the aluminum film from scratching or oxidization. It had high reflection at all angles of incidence and could be used as a reflective mirror for ultra-violet light, visible light, and near-infrared light. <a href="/?from=ask_words" style="color:red" target="_blank">Read more exciting novels for free</a>
