The named characters from the earlier arcs return as desperate clients. He solves their impossible problems and he collects his physical fee. The pay-off will be satisfying. Arc 4: Reader's Participation This is where you take control. The reader will drop comments describing a new female character. Give her a design, a personality, and a massive problem. The MC will take the case. He will fix her ruined life and claim his payment. We will repeat this cycle. You become the clients. This arc can run infinitely. As long as you keep submitting female characters, the story keeps moving. Arc 5: The Ending The story stops when the comments stop. When the reader submissions finally dry up, the MC will make a choice. He will pick the right path. He will marry someone he can actually love. He will retire from the underground contract business and settle down completely. Until that day comes, the office remains open.
