Things begin to take a bizarre turn when people begin to get constant headaches as they feel the limbs of Apeisynthecoid going through their head. Thus, start a myriad of stories starting with two science journal writers, going around the fictional city of Zuschter, to find Apeisynthecoid and in the the process we meet other characters whose stories will be told in later chapters.
