A darker spin on the legend of Diarmuid from the Fionna Cycle and Fate Zero. Diarmuid, a dual lance wielder who lost his honor and knighthood in the name of love gets a chance to redeem himself when the Roman starts to invade his country. However, fate has another plan as he is captured and sold into slavery. In a roman city where brutality and greed overcomes principles and honor, and where the desperate citizens of the city cast their twisted wishes and dreams upon the gladiators of the arena, Diarmuid struggles to keep his honor and knighthood until he is caught in the schemes and chaos of the power struggle between the young whimsical governor and his strict mysterious niece. On a journey to retrieve freedom and love, the goal is lost, principles shifts, cruel justifications and facts dominates, hearts change and love fades... will the two spears of roses and sun maintain their purity and elegance or will these blesses be redefined within the cursed struggles in the arena? Characters are inspired by fate zero's lancer, saber, archer and many more but their story lines and characteristic are different, more twisted and crueler in this psychological romance and action of preserving one's identity without being tainted.

In the age of the Nine Spear Kingdoms, the ancestors watch from beyond the veil, guiding warriors, kings, and spirit priests through the power of Umoya—the sacred energy that flows through all living things. For centuries, the kingdoms have remained united under a fragile peace protected by the Heavenly Spear, a divine relic belonging to the mighty Gcaleka Kingdom. But when the relic vanishes from its sacred shrine, darkness begins to spread across the Great Plains. Ancient barriers weaken, shadow beasts emerge from forgotten lands, and old rivalries threaten to ignite a war that could destroy the kingdoms. Far from the halls of power, fourteen-year-old Langa kaMzi lives a simple life as a shepherd in a remote village. His dreams extend no further than protecting his family and earning respect among his people. Everything changes when he discovers a broken spearhead hidden beneath a sacred hill. Inside the relic dwells the soul of an ancient king whose name has been erased from history. Bound by fate, Langa becomes the heir to a forgotten legacy. As he learns to harness Umoya and uncover the truth behind the lost king’s fall, he finds himself drawn into a conflict far greater than anything he imagined. Kingdoms scheme against one another, powerful warriors compete for glory, and a mysterious force lurking in the shadows seeks to awaken a long-buried evil. To survive, Langa must travel across the Nine Spear Kingdoms, forge alliances with princes, warriors, and spirit seers, and unlock powers believed to have vanished ages ago. But the deeper he ventures into the secrets of the past, the more he realizes that the disappearance of the Heavenly Spear is only the beginning. An ancient enemy is preparing to return. The ancestors are growing silent. And the fate of every kingdom may rest in the hands of a boy carrying a broken spear.

Fu Xiaoxiao transmigrates into a book and immediately faces the crisis of being sent to the countryside. As the unloved middle child, her younger sister is the one meant to go — but her mother transfers her job to the sister instead. A disaster of a start. To avoid being sent away, she has to marry within seven days. She meets a few ordinary men and decides she'd rather go to the countryside. Then she runs into a neighbor who's also looking for a spouse — and his conditions are surprisingly good. A dowry of three hundred? Bicycles and a radio? Just take care of the kids, and separate rooms are fine? The others may pass, but she won't. Every day is a battle of wits with the two kids. Life is eventful, she gets a salary every month, and the boss is never home. Absolutely perfect. Except... wasn't this big shot supposed to be infertile? Then why does he keep strutting around naked in front of her? She has professional ethics. She won't be seduced by a good body. Hmph. Men only slow down her sword swing. Lu Feng grits his teeth at Fu Xiaoxiao, who remains completely unmoved by his countless attempts to seduce her, and traps her in his arms. "Boss, let's talk this through. I know forty a month is a bit much — how about... five less?" Trapped in his embrace, Fu Xiaoxiao thinks he's unhappy with her high salary and starts bargaining. "I'm giving myself to you for free." Lu Feng grinds out through clenched teeth. This woman has no heart. "...Can I say no?" Fu Xiaoxiao swallows, staring at the washboard abs so close. "Such a good deal — are you sure you don't want it?" Lu Feng squints, tempting her. "Fine." A fool turns down a bargain.
