Super Saiyan 4 was a character transformation form in Dragon Ball GT. It was transformed by the golden giant ape after it controlled its rationality. It was the ultimate evolution form of the Super Saiyan. According to the settings, the energy of the giant ape was compressed and maintained in a human form. It had red body hair and was full of wild charm. The combat power of this form was the strongest in the Super Saiyan stage. Moreover, its transformation was related to the Saiyan's tail. The tail could draw out potential and was the source of power. In a sense, it was more accurate to call it an ape-like Saiyan. It could be seen as an evolutionary process of the Saiyan rather than a simple transformation. Only Sun Wukong and Vegeta could transform into a Super 4. Super Saiyan Blue was an evolved version of the Super Saiyan God. Its hair and pupils were blue, and it was a state that Goku and Vegeta had comprehended with the help of Weiss. The two belonged to different evolutionary directions in the Dragon Ball world view. Super League 3 to Super League 4 were marked with red arrows, while Super League → Super 2→ Super 3→ Super League God → Super Blue were marked with golden arrows to distinguish the two different evolutionary directions.

In the Power Competition, after Vegeta broke through to Deep Blue (the second stage of Super Blue), she had the strength to defeat Tuo Po, who had just entered the God of Destruction.

In " Super Dragon Ball Hero," Super Blue Wukong and Super Four Wukong had fought before. The officials defined these two forms as the same level. In the subsequent plot, the Super Four Wukong and the Super Blue Wukong also joined forces to attack the Evil Thought Wave, which also reflected that the two were equally powerful.
