NIGHTS OF HALLOW

NIGHTS OF HALLOW

~•No Escape•~ "Are you running away from me, my sweet girl" spoke a voice in the hallway that made her stop in her tracks. The hallway had turned dark with only the wall lamps that burned brightly casting the shadow of the man on the floor as he slowly emerged from the other end. "What are you doing here, your majesty," She said and bowed immediately as she saw him approach her with slow but steady steps. "You haven't answered me, sweet" The man said with a sweet smile that made her wary and he heard the way her heart skipped a beat. He stood before her and used his index finger to raise her chin. He tilted his head as he gazed into her green eyes that looked back at him with fear. He took a step forward closing the distance between them and his eyes narrowed when she took a step back, but that didn't stop him from cornering her. "Did you think you can escape from me?" He continued to question and she didn't miss the mockery behind his words. "I…I" she felt her words tied to her tongue because of the man's daunting aura. She felt him trace her forehead with his finger down to her jaw. He continued moving his hand down to her neck and to the top of her swell and her thudding heart hitched when his hand continued to stay there. "Did you think you can escape from me?" He bent towards her as he spoke. His breath fell on her neck which sent a jolt that traveled down her body. "I told you, you're tied to me and me to you" _______________________ Perdita Kartar was a winsome yet strange young lady. Hallow Obsession

Hallow Obsession

Dr. Cassian Thorne has spent his life studying monsters. He's never met one with eyes like silver and a face like a prayer. Blackwood Psychiatric Hospital holds the criminally insane—the ones the courts can't decide about. The ones who might be broken. Might be evil. Might be both. Wren Hollow has been inside for two years. Charged with three murders he swears he doesn't remember, Wren doesn't look like a killer. He looks like a lost boy who wandered into the wrong place—small frame, dark hair falling across his forehead, pale silver eyes that make guards sneak him extra dessert and nurses bring him books. The evidence says he's guilty. His tears say otherwise. The court can't decide. Cassian's job is simple: evaluate Wren Hollow and tell the court the truth. Is he faking? Is he broken? Is he dangerous? But nothing about Wren is simple. He remembers a lecture Cassian gave five years ago. He looks at Cassian like no one else exists. He loses time, wakes up confused, and writes in journals he won't let anyone read. Sometimes—just for a second—his face changes. His voice drops. His eyes go dark. Then it's gone, and Wren is soft again, confused, asking what happened. Cassian should run. Should refer the case to someone else. Should walk away before he falls any deeper. But Wren looks at him with those silver eyes and whispers, "I've been waiting for someone to see me." And Cassian—who has been alone since his mother's murder twenty years ago—wants to be that person. He doesn't know what's waiting in the dark. He doesn't know what Wren becomes when the lights go out. He's about to find out. --- Content Warning: This book contains dark themes including obsessive relationships, power imbalances, discussions of violence and murder, psychological trauma, and morally ambiguous situations. The hallow tale: Sylka's ascension

The hallow tale: Sylka's ascension

The sun hung low over Dryska,a small community, casting long gloom that danced mysteriously along the cobblestone streets. Awaju, once a proud demon council member, now traversed the haunted remnants of what was once a thriving city. The calamities had swallowed it whole, and among countless losses, he mourned the death of his beloved wife. Despite his demonic lineage, Awaju clung to his humanity, his heart aching for the child she bore moments before her demise. That child, JEFUG, however, was cursed, possessed by demons due to his father's blood. Awaju lived in terror that his son would succumb to a life of ruthless ambition and betrayal, becoming a heartless agent of destruction. He entrusted the boy to an underground refuge, a hidden world built by his grandfather—a sanctuary for those who escaped the grip of darkness. As years passed and the gloom deepened, the boy grew into an unexpected rebel, rejecting his father's tyranny and twisting the fates of demons. In a cruel twist of fate, he killed Awaju, believing he had to eliminate the past to forge a different future—one that would facilitate his rise to power. His ambition was boundless, and he became a stronghold within the demonic realm, earning the respect of Sylka, who elevated him as head of the seven councils. Yet, fate had other plans. While surveying his conquered lands, JEFUG stumbled upon an ancient river and encountered Xin Yun, a mesmerizing river goddess bathing under the moonlit sky. She captivated him with her ethereal beauty—a beauty that concealed her true nature as both a goddess and an adversary. Enraptured, he wed her without a second thought, unaware of the storm their union would unleash. Together, they bore Wan Sun, a child prophesied to bear the powers of both demon and goddess. As Wan Sun matured, he discovered the hidden journals of his grandfather, revealing the legacy of power and responsibility intertwined in his bloodline. The weight of expectation pressed heavily on him, but rather than giving in to despair, he chose to become the protector of Dryska, a beacon of hope for the non-infected and a thorn in the side of his family's legacy. Filled with phobia and guilt, he ventured into the glooms, battling demons that threatened to overrun the city. In a desperate quest to reclaim Dryska, he faced not only external adversaries but also the internal struggle of his father's ambitions and his own desires. Wan Sun wielded newfound powers of light and darkness, forging alliances with both allies and ancient spirits he awakened along his journey.
