Tangerine Stone and the City of Doors

Tangerine Stone and the City of Doors

Tangerine Stone is an S tier trouble magnet with a hate for Tuesdays. Follow along as she joins a magic academy, makes friends with a brain slug, tries to understand her place in this new world, and hopefully flirts with some pretty girls. What to expect: GL, Tangerine is a big old disaster lesbian. All of the horny and no where to put it. No Harem or poly, Tang is a bit of a flirt, but if or when she settles down she is a *slightly* possessive one woman type of girl. This isn't really a Litrpg, but it gets kinda close, no stats but lots of collecting magic items. Tropes, yes! Its a portal adventure where Tangerine joins a magic academy, deal with almost Otome situations in a world that is discount MtG! How MtG? I'm being inspired by the cards but not the lore. There's no Jace hanging about here. I'm also shamelessly bringing in a lot of inspiration from other stuff I like! Super slow burn / slice of life. Each update is just another day, I picked this format because I have no plan, this a brain dead story. There will be some action and adventure hopefully some angst and drama too! Think Buffy the Vampire Slayer for tone. Weak to strong, kinda. More like unprepared to prepared. Single character first person focus, 99% of chapters will be from the perspective of Tangerine. I'm not going to say I will never do a different point of view, but it will be rare. No ai has touched this work, you can tell because of all the mistakes! Book one complete!

when life gives you tangerine

when life gives you tangerine

Valeria, a sharp-witted but overly ambitious law student, wakes up late for her crucial entrance exam after her mischievous adoptive brother, Daniel, sabotages her clock. In her frantic rush, she humiliates herself in front of her lecturer, Mrs. Rogers, and becomes the laughingstock of social media. Furious, Valeria vows revenge—only to return home to another one of Daniel’s pranks, leading to a violent confrontation that changes everything. But Valeria’s life is far more complicated than it seems. Adopted into the powerful Royale family, she was groomed for one purpose: to marry Leon, the family’s rebellious black sheep. Though beloved by their grandmother, Leon is everything Valeria despises—a reckless, charming playboy who sees through her icy façade. Haunted by past trauma and a deep-seated hatred for men, Valeria refuses to let love weaken her ambitions. Greedy, cunning, and ruthless, she plays the Royales' game, pretending compliance while secretly plotting her own rise to power. But Leon isn’t fooled. He challenges her at every turn, igniting a dangerous game of seduction and betrayal. As tensions escalate between Valeria and LEON, and her forced marriage looms closer, she must decide: Will she cling to her vengeance and ambition, or will Leon’s persistent win her over. A dark past involving abandonment and betrayal fuels her hatred for men, making her fiercely independent but emotionally closed off. Leon’s Complexity:Though seen as the family’s reckless outcast, Leon is far more perceptive than anyone realizes. His genuine affection for Valeria clashes with her schemes.

Tangerine isn't docu-fiction. Docu-fiction combines elements of documentary and fiction, but tangerine is just a delicious fruit that doesn't fit into that category at all.
