Gwendolynn was raised by humans. Thinking she was just like any other human, she never thought she was, in fact, an elf until she began seeing the similarities between this mythical creature, and herself. Upon discovering her origins, she starts to learn who she is, and what her race is capable of. Finding out why Elves have gone extinct, Gwendolynn has to decide what she will do with this information, and what her place is within the strands of fate. This story is going to come about in no particular order because it's based on an outline that's still being worked on. This work in particular is actually a bit of a collaboration. A friend has inspired me to write this work, so while I am doing it for her; it is still my work. Both her and I really hope you enjoy this adventure. ^^

This story began as a question: what if the boundaries of humanity were broken overnight? What if survival wasn’t just about endurance, but about evolving, adapting, and finding power in a world that no longer plays by the rules? Kael’s journey is not just about fighting monsters—it’s about confronting the emptiness inside, the choices we make when everything familiar collapses, and the cost of becoming stronger than we ever imagined. The world you are about to enter is dangerous, unpredictable, and at times, unforgiving. Monsters lurk in shadows, humans are both prey and predator, and power comes at a price. I hope you enjoy walking alongside Kael through this chaotic, thrilling Seoul—a city you think you know, yet will never see the same way again. Remember: in this world, survival is not enough. You have to rise. — Author
