**** Author's Note **** This work has been put on hiatus. I go over this at the end of the first episode of my new work. The main reason is that I simply believe that I can write something that is much better than this now, solely because my new work, Divinity Breaker is made up of ideas I have already agonized over as I kept writing draft and draft. When I get to a point where I am able to truly make this story shine as I believe it can, Heir of The Heights will stay on hiatus. I deeply apologize for those that had added this work to my collection and I hope you will continue to support me through Divinity Breaker! _________________________________________________________________ If you were one decision away from completely changing your life, would you take it? Some do it for glory and recognition, while others try to amass the kind of riches that would assure one for at least twenty more generations after! With a layout and realms that change from ascent to ascent, the Tower of Babel has managed to keep humanity's progress meager, but with the arrival of "The Chosen One" humanity might yet be able to get to the very top.

He who stands beyond space and time. He who bestowed wisdom and life. He who started the beginning. In the relentless waves of time, history turns into epics, which evolve into myths, and until those myths lie buried beneath the sands of time. He who alone stands above the sands. The Immortal prisoner of time, the Eternal Star, whispered. "This is interesting." *** This is an epic, a story that tells multiple stories of different characters across different times, where their echoes still linger.

South Korea, a country totally populated with wonderful, friendly and gentle people, a place where you can find a way, friends, a life and much more, but is this totally true? Like every place there are always two sides, two faces, two stories. Something that the people of Seoul do not know or simply have not wanted to admit is the fact that for centuries and generations it has been ruled by humans blinded by power and scientific discovery, a country full of Mafias, clans and totally illegal organizations financed by the same government for their benefit, and here goes the question. all over the world, no matter where, there will always be corruption, why is the friendly country of South Korea so different from the others?

In a world shaped by gods, sins, and legends too terrifying to be spoken aloud, destiny does not choose heroes — it brands survivors. Duran is nothing more than a quiet village boy living on the fringes of Asteia, far from kings, magic academies, and the catastrophic battles that shaped history. He dreams of nothing grand — only a simple life with the people he loves. That life ends in a single night. When an unknown force annihilates his village, leaving only ash and silence behind, Now a new Duran awakens amid the ruins with a burning sigil seared into his soul — a mark older than kingdoms, older than myths. The Mark of Aleis. As the mark begins to awaken, Duran’s body struggles to contain fragments of impossible power — fire that devours existence, chaos that fractures reality, and soul-force that defies death itself. Each awakening threatens to destroy him from within. But power is never given freely. Hunted by beings who know and fear his power, pursued by cults who worship him, and watched by ancient beings who remember the last time the world burned, Duran is forced onto a journey across a continent steeped in forgotten wars and sealed horrors. Along the way he must confront: relics tied to the Seven Sins, the meaning of the strongest and the terrifying reality that his power was never meant to save the world… …but to restore its greatest destroyer.
