death game manga

There were many games that involved death and the Grim Reaper. For example," Death Sniper: Death Game ", the novel of the same name constructed the background setting of the three universes of reality, dead space, and the inner world. The selected ordinary people had to enter the simulation game map in the University of Death to experience war and casualties, and then go to the inner world to fight for survival. There were two types of content known as the "Game of Death": - One was a movie. Game of Death was a Hong Kong action movie released in 1978. It was co-directed by Sammo Hong, Bruce Lee, and Robert Kloss. Bruce Lee, Tang Long (Bruce Lee's double), Colin Gap, Sammo Hong, and Yuan Biao starred in it. The film tells the story of the action movie star Lubelli, who was harassed and plotted against by the evil group's leader, Doctor Blue. He rose up to resist and finally defeated the enemy. This was Bruce Lee's posthumous work. - The other type was the dangerous game on campus, which was also known as "Dream Back to the Great Tang","Three Seconds of Death","Heartbeat Game", and "Breath-Holding Game". It originated from teenagers in Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, and was introduced to a small number of primary and secondary schools and universities in China and coastal cities in the late 1990s. The general steps of the game included squatting against the wall, taking deep breaths, holding their breath, and then letting others press on their chests. The core of the game was to quickly reach the state of suffocation and lack of oxygen. The experiencer would experience some so-called "strange feelings" due to suffocation for a moment, such as hallucinations. Some people said that they would "see childhood scenes,""witness dream scenes," or even "memories of past lives." This kind of game was very dangerous. It would pressure the heart and suppress breathing, resulting in a decrease in the amount of blood returning to the heart. The blood and oxygen in the brain would also decrease accordingly. In serious cases, one would lose consciousness and stop the function of the organs in the whole body, threatening their lives.

The similarities are in the basic plot and main characters. But the anime might have better animations and added details. The differences could be in the pace of the story or some character designs.
