World of Skyvon
The World of Skyvon
Skyvon was a world where danger lurked beyond the reach of civilization.
Across the vast continent roamed countless magical beasts, while creatures that had comprehended the Rules of the world possessed power comparable to gods.
Even the strongest civilizations feared these ancient existences, for a single Rule-Level creature could erase kingdoms and reshape mountains with overwhelming might.
Yet this terrifying land was only part of an even greater mystery.
Skyvon itself was a colossal continent drifting through the endless Void.
Around its borders floated thousands of small and large realms, each connected to the main continent through natural passages, spatial anomalies, or ancient gateways.
Some realms were rich in resources.
Others hid forgotten civilizations or unimaginable dangers.
In the southern region of the continent lay an enormous lake unlike any other body of water.
Its waters constantly absorbed the world's magic energy, creating an environment where magical power steadily weakened the farther one traveled from land.
To ordinary people, it resembled an endless ocean.
At the center of this immeasurable lake rested a gigantic island.
The island was so vast that it contained towering mountain ranges, endless forests, fertile plains, deserts, rivers, swamps, volcanoes, and frozen lands.
Every geographical landscape could be found somewhere upon its surface.
It was upon this island that humanity was born.
Generation after generation, the Human Race expanded across its lands, believing the island to be the entirety of the world.
As civilization advanced, powerful cultivators eventually reached the Mental Field Level.
Some attempted to fly beyond the distant horizon, hoping to discover what lay across the surrounding waters.
None succeeded.
Their Chakra and Mental Energy were gradually exhausted by the lake's strange properties, while countless powerful magic beasts lurking beneath the water hunted those who ventured too far.
Few ever returned.
Despite countless failures, humanity's curiosity never disappeared.
The kingdoms surrounding the shoreline devoted themselves to shipbuilding.
Over centuries, stronger vessels were designed, better navigation methods were developed, and countless expeditions were launched into the unknown.
Finally, after hundreds of years of persistence and sacrifice, one expedition reached land beyond the endless water.
The discovery forever changed humanity's understanding of the world.
People soon realized that the island they had once believed to be the entire world was only a tiny part of something far greater.
Like children leaving their mother's womb, the Human Race had taken its first step into the vast world beyond.
Kingdoms, cities, and settlements gradually spread across the southern continent as humanity began exploring the immense land of Skyvon.
There, they encountered powerful races, ancient civilizations, forgotten realms, and countless dangers that had existed long before humanity's first ancestors drew breath.
This was the true world.
A world where gods walked.
A world where Rule-Level creatures ruled the wilderness.
A world where countless realms drifted beside a continent floating within the endless Void.
It was into this boundless and perilous age that the main character was born, in one of humanity's kingdoms upon the southern continent, completely unaware that his destiny would one day shake the very foundations of Skyvon.
