In the Harry Potter series, the death of Sirius was linked to an information scam directed by Voldemort. When Voldemort discovered that his mind could be connected to Harry Potter, he faked the image of Sirius being tortured by him in the Department of Mysteries of the Ministry of Magic and sent it to Harry Potter through a telepathic link. On his way to urgently contact Sirius, Harry Potter, under the misdirection of Kreacher, the house-elf, thought that Sirius had been captured by Voldemort, so he joined Hermione, Neville, Luna, and Ron to save Sirius. When they arrived, they found out that it was a hoax. Sirius had not been caught by Voldemort at all; it was Voldemort's Death Eaters who were waiting for them. A group of teenagers began to evade and resist the pursuit of the Death Eaters, and Sirius, Lupin, Moody, and other members of the Order rushed to the Ministry of Magic to rescue them when they heard from Snape. Sirius was killed by his cousin, Bellatrix Lestrange, in the middle of a fierce battle between the Order and the Death Eaters. However, in the book, Sirius is fighting Bellatrix on the dais, and he dodged the first of Bella's attacks. The book does not say what spell Bella cast on him the second time, but it says that the spell hit him right in the chest, and his eyes went wide with horror. Then he fell through the veil of the archway and disappeared with a look of fear and surprise, never coming out from the other side. When the movie dealt with this part, it directly said that Bella used a death curse on him (Avada Kedavra, the curse was green, but the book described the first curse Bella used on him as red, and the second curse did not mention color) and hit him, so he died. So there was also the possibility that Sirius had fallen into the Veil and died. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is not enough. Please click to read the novel!

Voldemort faked the image of Sirius being tortured by himself in the Department of Mysteries of the Ministry of Magic and sent it to Harry Potter through a psychic link. Under the misdirection of Kreacher, Harry Potter thought that Sirius had been captured by Voldemort, so he joined Hermione, Neville, Luna, Ron and other small partners to save Sirius. When they arrived, they found out that it was a scam. Sirius had not been caught by Voldemort at all; it was Voldemort's Death Eaters who were waiting for them. The second time, the book did not specify what spell Bella used. It only described that "the spell hit his chest..." His eyes went round with horror, and then Sirius fell back into the veil of the archway, disappearing with a look of horror and surprise, never to come out from the other side. Harry tried to climb onto the platform to check, but Lupin held him tight and told him Sirius was dead. In the movie, it was directly stated that Bella used a death curse on Sirius (Avada Kedavra, green) and hit him. However, the first curse Bella used in the book was red, so it was not a death curse. The second curse did not mention the color. It was not clear whether Sirius was killed by the curse or fell into the veil and could not return. They had become best friends since they entered Hogwarts, and the two of them, together with Lupin and Peter, formed the "Marauder." They were both smart and mischievous, taking pleasure in breaking school rules and often playing pranks. Sirius was born into the pure-blooded Black family, while James was Gryffindor. Sirius had met James after being assigned to Gryffindor House against family tradition. James's family later took in Sirius, who had run away from home due to a conflict of ideas, and James 'mother treated Sirius like her own son. Their relationship was so good that they were inseparable, like twins. James was the core of the four, but only Sirius could stop him from showing off. Together, they worked on the Animagus Transfiguration, which allowed them to transform into stag and black dog respectively, as well as pranks with the help of the Invisibility Cloak and the Marauder's Map. Later, James made Sirius the godfather of his child, Harry. When James and his family were hunted by Voldemort, their relationship underwent a great change.
