The New Gaia

The New Gaia

By the end of 23rd century, Earth civilization reached high technological level, while facing serious social problems. Resources became scarce following humanity growing in number five times in comparison to early 21st century. Despite scientists coming with various ways to save the world, including colonization efforts, degradation continued. Number one candidate for colonizing - Mars - required 300 years to be fully terraformed and only selected people could live under domes. Humanity needed a more solid plan - one that would bring results and bring them sooner. Following continuous surveys of space systems, a planet similar to Earth has been found - two times bigger than humanity's home, this new discovery was a true breakthrough. However, more detailed researched showed that about 20% of the planet is taken by an alien megacity surrounded by a powerful force field. New information caused a huge uproar among scientists involved, especially after no signs of life encountered and no response to various means of communication. After several years of observation, the city was considered abandoned. Having analyzed the data, numerous governments agreed on a joint effort to send and expedition to reveal the turth about the city and establish the very first colony on that planet. With the biggest ship made of five modules, over 5,000 strong crew set off on most important mission in humanity's history. John Marlow, a scientific officer and one of many deployed for the expedition, sets on a journey which will challenge his knowledge about the Universe and humankind's origin.

I Am Uranus
Uranus was the god of the sky in Greek mythology. He was Gaia's son and husband, and also the father of the twelve Titans, the Cyclops, and the Hecatoncheir. Uranus was born from the finger of Gaia, the mother of the earth. He symbolized hope and the future, as well as the sky. As the ruler of the time, Uranus played an important role in the universe. He created rivers, lakes, seas, mountains, rivers, and the earth, causing the sun and moon to alternate, the cold and heat to be in order, and also allowing fish to fly in the sea and beasts to run in the southern mountains. However, Uranus was a villain in the eyes of his children. He monopolized the reproductive rights of Gaia, and others did not have the right to reproduce. Therefore, Uranus was not a loving father in the eyes of the children. They were afraid to see him. Uranus was the ruler of the universe at that time.

The eight planets, Uranus
Uranus was the seventh planet in the solar system. It had the third largest planetary radius and the fourth largest planetary mass. It had a similar chemical composition to Neptune and was quite different from the gas giants (Jupiter and Saturn), so it was classified as an "ice giant planet." It was discovered by William Herschel in 1781. He initially wanted to name it after King George III, but failed. Later, it was named after the Greek god Uranus by John Eller Bode. Uranus was formed by the splitting, gathering, collision, and annexation of primitive nebulae. Its interior was mainly composed of ice (water ice, methane ice, and nitrogen ice) and rocks. The atmospheric temperature was-224 ° C (-371 ° F), and the contents of hydrogen and helium were 82.5 + 3% and 15 + 3% respectively. Like other planets, it had a ring system, a magnetic layer, and many satellites. There were currently 13 known rings, 3 billion kilometers from the sun, and it took 84 years to orbit the sun. It was also the only planet in the solar system that was lying down and rotating. In 2004, NASA's Hubble telescope observed a black hole on Uranus, and scientists inferred that there was a "diamond rain" on Uranus and Neptune. Voyager 2 and the Hubble telescope observed a lot of information about Uranus. In April 2023, NASA's James Webb Space telescope captured images of Uranus's ring. It was believed that the earthquake in the sea near Sumentara in 2011 was related to the magnetic field of Uranus; in August 2022, there was a retrograde movement phenomenon, and in November of the same year, a total lunar eclipse and the moon occulted Uranus at the same time. The scientists also proposed an experiential structural model for Uranus and Neptune, suggesting that the rotation period of Uranus should be changed to 16.57 hours. There were also three-layer smog models that reflected the similarities between Uranus and Neptune. In terms of volume, among the eight planets in the solar system, its surface area was 8.116 billion square kilometers, second only to Jupiter and Saturn. It was larger than Earth and could accommodate about 47 Earths. In astrology, Uranus represented revolution, change, and transformation. It was the guardian star of the eleventh constellation, Aquarius. In Greek mythology, China culture, war code names, and music, Uranus also had elements. In addition, NASA plans to visit Uranus again to explore its moon using new computer models to find hidden liquid water oceans. The novel "Mars of Paradise" is equally exciting. Everyone is welcome to read it!

Crossing Greece to become Uranus
If you like novels with a Greek mythological background, I'll recommend two to you. " The Great Ziwei of Greece " was a fantasy-historical myth novel. The main character, Adonis, traveled to the era of ancient Greek mythology and became the son of Zeus. This book had many interesting points, such as the combination of Chinese and Western mythology, China fantasy, and primitive elements. The plot was very smooth and the character settings were interesting. The main character was the younger brother of Apollo and the Moon Goddess. The god position was Emperor Ziwei and his wife was the Goddess of Beauty. Although the name was a little misleading, the content was really good. It was a rare masterpiece of Greek mythology. It was not stupid nor obscene. After it was finished, he could read it without worry. There was also 'The Road of Augustus', which was a historical novel about foreign countries. The protagonist, Li Bida, was a college student who was proficient in languages and traveled to the year 678 of the founding of Rome. He began his adventures as an army slave, and he struggled in the era of Caesar, Pompeii, and other famous people. This book was very unique, and the style of writing was very Roman. It could let you understand Rome during the Republic period. The female characters were described very well. They were not just pretty faces. Although it was a little brain-burning and had a small background, it was definitely a good history book. Read more exciting novels for free
