In the not-so-distant future, humanity's age-old dream of space travel turns into a nightmare when an advanced alien race, the Charybdae, emerges from the Proxima Centauri system. The United Human Front (U.H.F.) forms in a desperate attempt to resist the relentless invasion, with young soldier Nathan Rodriguez caught in the midst of the chaos. As Earth's colonies fall one by one, Nathan encounters a mysterious entity on Mars that offers him help with the war, in exchange for Nathan's loyalty. Is the offer truly too good to be true? Or is there more to it?

20 years ago, an army of androids known as the Vox had invaded Earth, wreaking havoc across the globe. Upon the banishment of their leader, the Vox retreated, and a disaster involving the crash of their mothership led to a great displacement: suddenly, an entire city had been teleported to the Vox home world, Vexra, with millions of people now stranded! These new people of Vexra, in unison with a group of Vox rebelling against their leaders, have tried to form a stable society, but a hidden foe far beneath the surface seeks to threaten it all...

The story follows the life of Jeremiah Vox. After a series of bad events he loses the functions of his left leg and has to use crutches to support himself for the foreseeable future. Apart from his left leg, he also has a few other problems, but IAS is here, and his future has once again been changed. The room went silent. "Yours? Since when?" "Joyce, tell me. Whose are you?" So much for the secret marriage. So much for being a substitute. This was supposed to be fake… wasn't it?
