And I found that there's a tragically short supply of space cultivation, with drama and such. What I hate, however, is power creep. That is not here. Cultivation is not sitting for seven billion years to godhood, nor is it take three pills and fart out a new universe. My take on cultivation is, alignment and knowledge. Strength as a by product, not a goal. Also, as strong as a cultivator might be, they aren't stronger than the sci-fi elements in the novel. This is not a generic cultivation power trip which cannibalizes the rest of the narrative. It will be a slow at times, fast at others. Morality is in question. Ethics in question. The trappings of a mind abandoned put up against the reality of the wider firmament and its place there. Yovan doesn't know anything about Cultivation.
