Osprey and the Boy: A New Journey

Ever since Ah Hai helped the osprey Ah Er solve the problem of the decrease in fish in the river, his relationship with Ah Er had become closer. As Ah Hai grew up, his enthusiasm for animal protection grew.

Ah Hai and Ah Er often explored the surrounding natural world together. One day, they discovered a once beautiful but now somewhat barren marsh. The trees around the marsh looked a little withered, and the water was no longer clear. Many small animals that used to live here had disappeared.

Ah Hai looked at all of this with heartache. He decided to let this swamp regain its vitality. Ah Er also accompanied him firmly, using the unique perspective of the osprey to provide information to Ah Hai.

Ah Hai began to organize students to form an environmental protection group in school. They studied the ecological problems of the marsh together and found that the sewage discharged from a nearby factory had affected the water quality of the marsh. Ah Hai and his classmates worked hard to collect evidence and report this problem to the relevant departments. During this process, Ah Hai would often talk to Ah Er about the difficulties he encountered, and Ah Er would use his wisdom to give Ah Hai encouragement and advice.

After a long period of hard work, the factory was finally required to rectify and stop the illegal discharge of sewage. Ah Hai and his classmates planted suitable aquatic plants in the wet land and also brought in some fish from other healthy waters.

As time passed, the marsh began to slowly recover its vitality. Ah Hai felt a sense of accomplishment when he saw the osprey Ah Er soaring above the rejuvenated wet land. Ah Er also brought his osprey family back to the marsh, which once again became the home of many animals.

At a nature conservation exhibition organized by the school, Ah Hai attended it with Ah Er. Ah Er stood on Ah Hai's shoulder, and Ah Hai told everyone the story of how they saved the wet land. The students below the stage were deeply attracted. They understood the importance of protecting the natural environment and animals even more. The story of Ah Hai and Ah Er became a much-told story among the local people, encouraging more people to join the ranks of protecting nature.
