The Past by the River
However, Takuya was the representative of the male protagonist in rough Chinese. He used to be Uncle Cai's henchman. Every time he appeared, it was often accompanied by human lives and blood. He was decisive and never showed mercy. He was Uncle Cai's most reliable henchman. However, after meeting Shen Xing, he had changed. He had turned into a brother lover and regarded those who were not good for Shen Xing as his opponents. However, Taku's family background was more complicated. His father was a drug addict who sold everything in the house and almost sold his mother and brother. In the end, he died on the way to buy tobacco soil. His mother was a traditional good wife and mother. After his father passed away, Danto started to support his family. When he was a teenager, he used to dive in the river to fish for pangolin scales (Chinese medicinal herbs) to sell for money. Although he was chased away by Uncle Cai, he still came back. Uncle Cai knew that he was trying to feed his family and gave him food, but the food was soaked in water and fed to the fish. He had also experienced the predicament of having his armor plate taken back after being snitched on by Sorwin, and even had his tongue cut off. Even though life was hard, Takuya later became the backbone of Uncle Cai's men, and the increase in income improved the family's conditions. After Maung Ba got married and had children, Dan Tuo also introduced Maung Ba to the water and taught him step by step. After Maung Pa's death, Dan Tuo gradually saw through some of Uncle Cai's bad behavior. The collapse of Uncle Cai's image prompted his self-destruction. In addition, Dan Tuo was already married. The Past of the River
The characters in The Past of the Border Water are as follows: 1. Shen Xing, played by Guo Qilin, was a young worker. He had accidentally entered the Trilateral Valley, a place full of complicated forces. He was an ordinary laborer who struggled to survive in the Trilateral Valley. His acting skills improved significantly in the drama, but his strengths and weaknesses were also obvious. He could better portray the image of a high school student, but his performance in some emotional scenes was slightly lacking. However, his farewell scene with Brother Tuozi was the highlight of the whole drama. 2. [Uncle Guess]: Played by Wu Zhenyu, he is the middleman in Sanbian Valley who knows all the forces. He is a mysterious and unpredictable peacemaker who walks freely among the various forces. He was also the most complicated character in the entire drama. The drama showed his cold side, such as the confrontation with Mao Pan, the psycho, the killer, and so on. At the same time, he also had a cute side. For example, when he received Shen Xing's blessings at the birthday party, he instantly turned from a cold boss to a kind old father. In the heartfelt conversation with Shen Xing, he acted like a kind elder. 3. [Sun Shan: 40 years old, has a Hunan accent, was once rich, wanted to make a comeback through stone gambling, but ended up in a desperate situation.] 4. Guo Limin, played by Zhao Runnan. From Shen Xing's point of view, this character reflected endless despair. Zhao Runnan acted out the despair at the bottom of the dark valley, such as the fear of hiding Shen Xing in the beginning and facing Brother Bazi, as well as his performance after the dark side, all of which left a deep impression on people. 5. [Dan Tuo], played by Jiang Qilin. This role restricted the actor's performance to a certain extent. It was more perfect and had a single level, but Jiang Qilin could show the details when he acted. For example, when he was discussing with Uncle Cai about whether Shen Xing would stay or not, the look in his eyes changed slightly when he learned that Uncle Cai had fired the gun and that Shen Xing had not betrayed him. 6. [Wu Haishan: Played by Wang Xun.] In the drama that was full of ruthless people, he vividly portrayed the image of an extremely cold-blooded businessman who was kind and enthusiastic on the surface but watched the tigers fight behind his back. He treated human lives with contempt and also showed a rich level. 7. Wang Anquan, played by Jiang Qiming. This character was a relatively popular nobody in San Bian Po. His bottom line was hard to fathom. He had once backstabbed the stone gambler and Shen Xing, and then showed a helpless side. In order to leave this place, he sold his body and soul, but in essence, he was a person who yearned for the light. This kind of extreme helplessness could be seen from his eyes when his soul was hit. 8. [Juexintun]: He is a police officer, but he is different from the typical police officer in movies and TV shows. In Sanbian Slope, which was a chaotic place, he looked a little bad and liked to take advantage of others. For example, he asked Shen Xing to pay the bill every time he drank tea, but he did not break the law. He would use his off-duty time to drive a taxi to support his family. He would do his best to do what he could, such as rescuing his uncle who was trapped in the blockade, saving the reporters, and cracking down on the drug dealers. He would not force himself to do what he could not do. For example, he chose to retreat when the Blue Qin Casino forced a single family. Moreover, he could predict Uncle Cai's plans and arrangements. When he knew that he was powerless to resist, he would persuade Shen Xing to run away. Not enough TV dramas? Hurry up and click on the books below to read the wonderful original novel!

His death seemed to be part of Uncle Cai's plan, because Uncle Cai's plan involved drug trafficking, and Takuya's character and principles made him an obstacle. However, his family environment made it impossible for him to touch drugs. He knew that he had no way out and began to bid farewell to his family.
