There was also the saying of "One Qi Turning into Three Pure Ones." In the Taoist temple, there were often three statues of the three immortals, the Three Pure Ones, in the main hall. The statue of Heavenly Lord Yuanshi was located in the center of the altar, and the statues of Heavenly Lord Lingbao and Heavenly Lord Daode were located on the left and right. This order represented the three stages of the formation of the world, and the status of the three immortals was slightly different.
