Meirong Village in Tonglu County has made remarkable achievements in tourism development.

In terms of health and well-being, Meirong Village launched the "three in the village" chronic disease management measures, set up women and children's post stations, and regularly carried out children's public welfare classes. In terms of tourism resources, the village had many attractions. There were a series of spectacular rape fields nestled against the Fuchun River, where tourists could stroll and feel relaxed and comfortable, or take photos as a memento. Walking from the kindergarten of Meirong Village to the center of the village, one could reach the ancient buildings of the Gong family. There were also many old houses of the Ming and Qing Dynasties scattered in the village. There was a Jingman FTT riverside camping base along the river to the west, suitable for spring camping activities. In addition, the Meirong Teahouse, which opened this year, was located in the Luo family's big house, which was built in 1914. It carried the "Meirong Spirit". It not only preserved the comfortable life of drinking tea and listening to music in the old Tonglu people, but also introduced the emerging online celebrity elements to convey the concept of Chinese aesthetic life. It was very popular among traditional culture lovers. During the National Day period, the four-in-one rural operation project, Meirong Yisu Village, which included "Meirong Memory (teahouse), Meirong Posthouse (village living room), Meirong Interesting (micro paradise) and Meirong Lodge (homestay)", had nearly 20,000 visitors, an increase of 35% compared with the same period last year, driving the surrounding industries to be full.

In terms of operation mode, since 2023, Hangzhou City Travel Group (City Yunhe Group) and Tonglu County Government took Meirong Village as the demonstration practice site for the construction of beautiful villages. With the goal of creating the "First Village of Fuchun Mountain Residence in the New Era", they established new urban families as the main customer group, injected parent-child IP genes, explored the "Stars Chasing the Moon" model, connected the whole village with three matrices and six park clusters of parent-child parks, and signed a contract with Aofei Entertainment. The Meirong·Quaofei theme park opened in June 2024. With the improvement of facilities and the spread of IP, it received more than 1,000 visitors every day during the National Day. The project has been deployed in many natural villages, forming a new village operation mode with Aofei Micropark as a cluster and teahouses and cafes as supporting facilities. It will stimulate the employment of villagers and revitalize a large number of idle resources. Today, Meirong Village has been listed as one of the "Golden Left Bank" projects of Fuchun River in Hangzhou. It has been selected as the first batch of 30 "Hangzhou Light" Hangzhou life micro-landmark products in Hangzhou City. It is the integrated display window of the modern version of Fuchun Mountain Residence map that Tonglu focuses on and an important place for the best short-distance travel destination in the Yangtze River Delta.
