There were two sides to the reaction of watching Thai dramas.

On the negative side:

- Most of the scenes were similar, and it was suspected that most of them were filmed in the film studio.

From the front:
- Most of the scenes in the movie were more modern and well-decorated, reflecting the ordinary life in Thailand.
- There were many mixed-race celebrities who were good-looking, and female mixed-race celebrities were generally tall.
- Some of the plots in Thai dramas could drive interest in related products. For example, the frequent appearance of Thai nasal passages in the drama made people want to buy it. The thick hair of Thai actors made people want to try Thai ginger shampoo.
