Chen Yuxi was born in Shanghai on September 11th, 2005. Her family had deep roots in sports. Her grandfather was very famous in the gymnastics world. On April 19th, in the finals of the World Swimming Federation Diving World Cup, she cooperated with Quan Hongchan and won the women's synchronized 10m platform competition, achieving the sixth consecutive championship of the World Cup. On April 21st, she won the title of "Athlete of the Year" of the World Swimming Federation Diving World Cup. In the 2024 Paris Olympics, she and Quan Hongchan won the women's synchronized 10m platform diving competition on July 31 and won the silver medal in the women's single 10m platform diving final on August 6.
