It was said that 360 years ago, Fa Ji Bodhisattva went out to travel and there was no news of him since then. In fact, it was because the Buddha needed the power of the Great Wisdom Dharma to stay awake and not turn himself into a monster without reason, so he swallowed Fa Ji Bodhisattva.
The Bodhisattva Dharma of the Dafeng Buddhist Sect had these abilities. The Vajra Glaring Dharma was used for attack; the Acalanatha Dharma was used for defense; the Great Samsara Dharma could revive; the Great Compassion Dharma could brainwash; the Great Wisdom Dharma could control wisdom; the Medicine Master Dharma could heal; the Walker Dharma could accelerate; the Colourless Glass Dharma could slow down; and the Maha-Vairocana Dharma was a map cannon. Moreover, a Bodhisattva could control one or two Dharma Forms.

In fact, it was because the Buddha needed the power of the Great Wisdom Dharma to stay awake and not turn himself into a monster without reason, so he swallowed Fa Ji Bodhisattva. Later on, Xu Qi 'an rescued a wisp of Bodhisattva Faji's soul and handed it over to Daoist Priest Golden Lotus to nourish and recover.

In Da Feng Da Geng Ren, the text did not explicitly mention the ending of Buddhism. It was known that the Buddha was originally the incarnation of the Taoist Venerable's Human Sect and founded Buddhism. He had nine Dharma Forms and was later sealed by the Confucian Saint. He then injected a part of his soul into the suppressed Asura. Monk Shenshu's ending was not explicitly mentioned in the novel. It was only known that his experience was quite complicated. The Buddha part fused with the Shura King with his emotional soul to become Monk Shenshu. In the process of resisting the Buddha's devouring of the Great Bestowal, many characters made sacrifices to delay the situation of being devoured, but there was no definite indication of the final outcome of Buddhism. In the context of Buddhism, the title of "Dharma King" was originally an honorific title for Buddha. Later, it was also extended to the honorific title of Bodhisattva, King Ming, King of Hell, etc. At the same time, it was also an honorific title for some monks in Xizang, Mongolia, Japan, and other places. It was also the title given to the religious leaders of Tibetan Buddhism in the Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties. In some of the Han Buddhism, there was a saying of "Dharma King Bodhisattva", but no more detailed and unified explanation of the concept of "Dharma King Bodhisattva" was found. In Tibetan Buddhism, there were many people who were respectfully addressed as "Karmapas", such as the five recognized Karmapas in the Tibetan Buddhist world. They were the leaders of the five major Tibetan sects, including the Sakya Karmapa of the Sakya Sect and the Karmapa of the Kagyu Sect. They played important roles in their respective sects, but this was not simply the same as the concept of "Karmapa Bodhisattva." In some folk cultural works (such as the mention of Dharma King Jinba in the Legend of the New White Lady, although he was an evil demon who falsely claimed to be a Dharma King), the production of Buddha statues (there were products of Dharma King Bodhisattva statues) and other situations, there were also expressions related to "Dharma King", but they did not point to a precise explanation of the concept of "Dharma King Bodhisattva".
