Reading e-books on a curved screen phone had its advantages and disadvantages. 1. Strengths 1. ** In terms of visual effects ** - Curved screen phones often had better contrast and color performance. For example, some curved screen phones had passed the HDIR10 + certification, so the display details were more prominent and the color performance was more vivid. This could provide a better visual experience when reading color e-books, making the text clearer and the pictures more vivid. - Some curved screen phones had a high refresh rate. For example, the 90Hz high refresh rate screen could display 90 images per second, which was 50% higher than the mainstream 60Hz screen. When reading, sliding the screen was smoother, bringing a silky pleasure to the eyes. 2. ** In terms of feeling ** - The curved screen phone felt more comfortable. When reading an e-book or performing some operations, it might accidentally trigger other functions and affect the reading experience. 2. ** In terms of maintenance costs ** - Once a curved screen phone was broken, the cost of repair was high. This was a factor to consider for users who were used to reading e-books on their phones and might face the risk of accidentally dropping their phones. 3. ** Inconvenience of sticking film ** - The curved screen phone could not fit the traditional protective film, which might make some users who had higher requirements for screen protectors dissatisfied.
