Young and Dangerous Knife
In movies related to young and dangerous people, prop knives could be used in many situations. For example, in "The Young and Dangerous in Jianghu," the knife that Chen Haonan and the others used to cut people looked like a watermelon knife, but it was actually a rubber knife. This kind of knife was specially used for cutting scenes. It could even be used for back massages on the set. In movies and TV shows, sword props were usually made of special materials. Although they looked like metal, they were actually very light. There were many ways to deal with the scenes where the sword hurt people to ensure the safety of the actors and the effect was realistic. For example, using a position (using the arm to quickly hold the sword, suitable for side shots, but not good for frontal shots), using a foldable sword (similar props in "Nine Sesame Officials"), and adding special effects when the sword pierced through the body.
