Is the Song Dynasty Youth 2 good?
There were different opinions on whether " Great Song Youth Chronicles 2 " was good or not. On the positive side, the Douban score of the drama was 8.3, and there were many highlights. Its screenwriter, Wang Juan, had created many high-scoring Chinese dramas. In this play, he played the reversal to the extreme, such as the first episode with the setting of "5 minutes and 5 reversals". The plot revolved around six young secret agents of the Northern Song Dynasty carrying out a mission. It was a standard ancient costume drama. There were outstanding group portraits, and the original cast returned. The opening could let the fans of the first film feel a familiar atmosphere. The seven houses were one, and the feeling of life and death was very burning. It had the taste of youth. From the lines to the small details, one could feel the heart. Moreover, the drama had already won three single-day popularity charts in Cat's Eye's statistics, and its webcast data had exceeded 600 million views. However, there were also many negative comments. Compared to the first episode, the first few episodes were not attractive enough, and the main character's youth was weakened. Some viewers felt that the production was "crudely made", that there were cutscenes and that too many lines affected the viewing experience. There was a problem with the collapse of the character, such as the change of the character Ding Er in the second film. The original cast and crew were promoted, but the actor of Wei Yaya was changed, and the new role could not replace the funny role of the first film. There were also viewers who felt that other than the members of the Seven Houses, other people's personalities had collapsed. For example, the new Chancellor's IQ was worrying, and Yuchi Yuan was described as a fool. Some of the audience felt that Zhang Xincheng and Zhou Yutong's acting this season was also worrying. The original novel of " The Shadow of Beacon Burning Plum Fragrance " was " The Hitman's Diary of the Pseudo Song Dynasty." The original plot was equally exciting.
