How to deal with discarded meat

Answer 1

Based on context alone
Waste meat was handled as follows:

** 1. Harmless treatment **
1. ** High-temperature treatment **
- It could be incinerated or steamed at a high temperature. Incineration was to place the waste meat in a special burning equipment and burn it completely at high temperatures. This method could effectively kill the bacteria, parasites, and other harmful organisms that might be contained in the waste meat. High-temperature cooking was to put the waste meat in a high-temperature and high-pressure environment for a certain period of time. For example, it was cooked in a high-temperature high-pressure cooker at 121 - 132 ° C for more than 30 minutes. After such treatment, the waste meat could completely inactivate harmful microorganisms and then be converted into fertilizer or raw materials for animal feed production (after the subsequent strict treatment process and meeting the relevant standards).
2. ** Purification **
- Using specialized chemical processing equipment, under a certain temperature, pressure, and chemical reagents (if necessary), the waste meat would be decomposed into components such as grease and solid residue. The oil obtained from the chemical process could be used for industrial production, such as the production of soap, diesel, etc. The solid residue could be processed into fertilizer.

3. ** Buried deeply **
- If it was a small amount of waste meat, it should be buried at a certain depth (for example, at least 1.5 - 2 meters deep) in specific areas far away from water sources and residential areas. During the process of deep burial, the waste meat had to be wrapped to prevent the spread of pollution during the burial process, and it had to be marked. After being buried deep, the waste meat would gradually decompose under the action of microorganisms in the soil, but this method must ensure that it would not pollute the soil and underground water.

** 2. Recovery (under strict regulations)**
1. ** Feed Production **
- If the source of the waste meat was legal and compliant, and it had undergone strict inspection, quarantine, and treatment, it could be processed into animal feed after the pathogen and harmful substances (such as drug residue) were removed. For example, processing waste meat into meat and bone powder could be used as animal protein supplement feed, but this process must strictly abide by the relevant food safety and animal feed production regulations.
2. ** Production of fertilizers **
- Waste meat could be turned into organic fertilizer after being composted. During the fermentation process, the temperature, humidity, ventilation, and other conditions needed to be controlled to promote the decomposition and transformation of the waste meat by microorganisms. In general, the temperature of the manure should be maintained between 55 ° C and 65 ° C for several days to several weeks to ensure that the possible harmful organisms were killed. Finally, the organic fertilizer rich in nutrients could be used for agricultural production to improve soil fertility.
