The youth of Fudu is not good-looking
The perception of a movie was very subjective. Fudu Youth had its own unique charm. It told the story of a pair of homeless brothers who struggled to survive at the bottom of society, showing the profound theme of identity and the struggle of the people at the bottom. In the film, the actors vividly created characters with different personalities, such as the hard-working brother Abang, the unwilling fate of the younger brother Adi, and the enthusiastic social worker Jia En. Through simple scenes such as simple rental houses and noisy markets, the movie created a depressing but warm atmosphere. Moreover, details such as the color of clothes worn by people of different identities also had special meanings. However, everyone had different preferences for the plot, acting style, and depth of the theme. If you didn't think it was good, it might be because these elements didn't move you. Fudu Youth In-depth Analysis of the Ending
The movie, Fudu Youth, revolved around the fate of the non-biological brothers, Abang and Adi. Abang was sentenced to death by hanging for his involvement in the death of Jia En, a female social worker. Although Adi tried to clear his name or reduce his sentence through legal means, he ultimately failed. Ah Bang was executed by hanging. This scene was the tragic end of his personal fate and also the emotional climax of the film. Ah Bang's dialogue with the Buddhist master before his execution was very impressive. With Ah Bang's death, his younger brother, Adi, was deeply touched. His heart underwent a profound change and began to learn to face reality and actively change his attitude towards life. There were also some scenes in the film that enriched the story. For example, after the prison guard said that Ah Bang was a good person in his eyes, Ah Bang started to eat again, and Ah Bang went on a hunger strike after he was imprisoned. The eminent monk came to the hospice and advised him to live as long as he could. Some viewers had expected the ending to be Abang's betrayal and his brother's murder, but the actual ending was Abang being executed and his brother Adi moving towards a positive change in life after Abang's death. The film showed the impermanence of fate and the redemption of human nature. At the same time, it also deeply explored social structure, human nature, and philosophy of survival.
