"The King of Comedy, Single-Mouth Season" Fu Hang
Fu Hang's performance in the King of Comedy's One-Man Season was very distinctive. His performance didn't have the usual competitive tension. Instead, it was like a pure emotional venting and release. He was called " monkey " by the audience and other actors. He himself also described his performance style as " atavism ", which was full of the passion of primitive life. His writing skills were profound. He was not a player who relied on golden sentences, straightforward criticism, word games, or famous memes to construct a text. His text and performance were integrated, mostly about the bitterness and struggle of small characters, dissatisfaction, and kindness. For example, the first match of the finals could vividly portray the image of a driver who bullied the weak and feared the strong. The manuscript was smooth, and there were ups and downs in his emotions. He also constructed an ideal world by introducing the image of a fool. At the end, the two story lines merged into one, finally breaking the ideal fiction and adding sadness to the fate of the small characters. The second set of text told a fable that pointed to the ultimate problem of life. It used a lot of metaphor, from the transition of puppies to licking dogs to the end of love life, to convey the idea that there would always be someone who loved being brave. In the finals, he used animals to reflect the living conditions of humans, and used the perspective of organs to humorously teach everyone not to be emotional slaves. He also told everyone through their childhood experiences that as long as they were brave enough to be themselves, there would always be people who loved them. His performance made people burst into laughter and tears at the same time. His first reaction after winning the championship was to confess to his competitors on the spot, saying that they were also champions. After the award ceremony, he even changed the name on the trophy to Young Deer, reflecting the mutual appreciation between the comedy actors. In the end, he won the annual championship of the 2024 Kyoto Nianci's "King of Comedy Single-Mouth Season" with 392 votes. Stephen even posted a post to celebrate his victory. He stood out with his unique acting style, touching jokes, unique humorous interpretation of daily life, excellent text creation (jokes were funny and made people think about life), humble and sincere character, and infectious stage performance. For example, in the finals, he would use animals to introduce the social injustice of human society, and describe the confession experience, the beauty and bitterness of love, and so on. On the other hand, his opponent, Young Deer, lacked creativity, jokes, and stability on the stage of the finals. Fu Hang turned his desire for the championship into the motivation of the stage, giving his all in every performance and finally winning the championship.
