Why are novels about mortals and immortals not popular anymore?
As a fan of web novels, I can't give a specific reason because the popularity of a novel is affected by many factors, including the plot, character creation, plot development, writing style, and so on. However, I can give you some possible reasons to help you analyze why mortal cultivation novels are not popular anymore: 1. Boring storyline: If the story is too monotonous and lacks surprises, the reader's interest may decrease. The story of a mortal immortal cultivation novel might have been adapted and created many times, and the plot might have become old and boring. 2. Character creation: If the characters in the novel lack personality, are not real, and are not full, it is difficult for readers to resonate and connect emotionally. This was very important for a novel because readers would be more likely to become emotionally invested in the characters. 3. The plot turns too suddenly: If the plot of the novel develops too suddenly, the reader may feel confused and uneasy. This sudden turn of events may cause readers to lose interest because they don't know how to adapt to the new situation. 4. Poor writing: If the writing of the novel is too rough and lacks fluency, the reader's reading experience may decline. This might cause readers to lose interest and turn to other novels. 5. Insufficient publicity: If the novel does not receive enough publicity and promotion, readers may not discover its existence. This could lead to a decline in the popularity of the novel even though it might have existed for a long time. The above are just some possible reasons. The specific reasons may vary from novel to novel. If you want to increase the popularity of your novel, you can try to improve the story, shape the characters, improve the writing, and promote it.
