Which is better, Shanghai University or Zhejiang Normal University?
Judging the quality of a university required a comprehensive consideration from many aspects. The following analysis was done from a few common dimensions: ** 1. Overall ranking of the school ** 1. ** Shanghai University **: It is a comprehensive university under the jurisdiction of Shanghai and the focus of the national "211 Project". However, it has dropped eight places in the soft sciences ranking and is currently ranked 56th in the country. 2. ** Zhejiang Normal University **: It is a comprehensive provincial key university that specializes in teacher education. It has made rapid progress in the Soft Science rankings. Within a year, its ranking has risen by 12 places. Currently, it is ranked 88th. From the rankings, Shanghai University was currently ranked higher, but Zhejiang Normal University was on the rise. ** 2. Nature and Position of the School ** 1. ** Shanghai University **: As a Shanghai-affiliated university, it is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the Shanghai City People's Government. It is also a world-class discipline construction university. It had a variety of resources and had certain advantages in discipline construction and scientific research. In Shanghai, it could take advantage of its geographical advantages to carry out rich academic exchanges, internships and employment activities. 2. ** Zhejiang Normal University **: A provincial key university, specialized in teacher education. He had a deep accumulation in the field of teacher education. For students who were interested in the education industry, the educational resources, internship opportunities, and reputation in the field of education provided by the school were more attractive. Moreover, it had a high degree of recognition in the education system of Zhejiang Province. ** 3. Discipline Construction ** There was no detailed information on the specific advantages of the two universities, but generally speaking, Shanghai University, as a 211 and first-class discipline construction university, may have more comprehensive disciplines and may have strong strength in some cutting-edge disciplines and applied disciplines; Zhejiang Normal University was featured in teacher education, and its teaching-related disciplines should have strong strength. In summary, it was difficult to determine which was better between Shanghai University and Zhejiang Normal University. If you pay attention to the comprehensive ranking of the school, want to develop in Shanghai, and pursue the variety of disciplines, Shanghai University may be more suitable. If you have a strong interest in teacher education and want to develop in the education field of Zhejiang Province, Zhejiang Normal University would be a good choice. Read more exciting novels for free
