Golden Horse Awards Actors
Here are some clips of the actors from the Golden Horse Awards: - At the 48th Golden Horse Awards in 2011, Andy Liu presented the Best Actress Award. At that time, Zeng Zhiwei and Zeng Baoyi were the hosts. After Liu Dehua commented on the four movie queen candidates, Zeng Zhiwei suddenly asked,"Hua Zai, do you know how to have children?" At that time, it was rumored that Hua Zai's wife Zhu Liqian was pregnant, and Hua Zai had always protected the privacy of his family. This problem caused the good-tempered him to explode on the spot. - At the 55th Golden Horse Awards Ceremony in 2018, an infuriating scene took place. After the Taiwan female director won the award, she made inappropriate remarks, hoping that one day "our country can be treated as a real individual". This made Gong Li's face turn black and refused to present the award on the same stage as Ang Lee. Mainland actors such as Duan Yihong, Zhang Yimou, Xu Zheng, Deng Chao, Hu Ge, etc. also changed their faces. Andy Liu frowned. The awkward situation was eased after the mainland award-winning actors made patriotic remarks on stage. However, at the finale, Gong Li, who was supposed to present the award, refused to go on stage. Despite Ang Lee's repeated invitations, Gong Li was still unmoved. In the end, Ang Lee had to present the award alone. After the awards ceremony, the mainland actors and directors collectively refused the dinner. Some canceled the original promotional activities and left the station early. The four major sponsors withdrew their investments. The five major film companies in Hong Kong said that they would no longer participate in the selection. The National Film Bureau suspended the participation of mainland films and personnel in the Golden Horse Film Festival. - In 2024, Wu Kangren won the Golden Horse Award for a long, silent scene in Fudu Youth.
