The stockings in the TV series and movies
In some TV series and movies, the appearance of stockings was sometimes unreasonable. For example, in anti-Japanese works, there were female characters wearing black silk thigh socks standing together with men in military uniforms. This combination did not conform to the historical background of the time and was considered absurd, as if the director was playing the edge ball. In period dramas or other works, there were also cases where characters wore black silk. For example, the appearance of black silk in Sun Shangxiang's image did not match the audience's conventional understanding of the character. This kind of arrangement of clothing was seen as a magical change to the character, and it was even suspected of insulting the audience's intelligence. In the 1986 edition of Journey to the West, stockings were also used to make props. Back then, when they were filming the scene at the bottom of the well, in order to create a hazy effect, they used stockings to cover the lens to achieve the desired effect without a suitable filter. Read more exciting novels for free
