The Past of the Border Water Guo Qilin's Failure
Some of the audience thought that Guo Qilin was a failure in " The Past by the Border ". They felt that Guo Qilin was not suitable for the role of Shen Xing. He did not have the fierce spirit of a hooligan. He played Shen Xing as a timid and evildoer. He was not good at pacifying, but he was good at taking things on. However, there were also different views. When the director decided to shoot the drama, he chose Guo Qilin to play Shen Xing. He thought that Shen Xing had to be approachable, like a neighbor, and a person with a sense of life. This sense of life was the way he spoke in his daily life, and his reaction speed was very fast. Such a character could be completely tied to an actor like Guo Qilin. Shen Xing had a side that could empathize with the audience. And as the plot developed, Guo Qilin's "stupidity" and "naivety" became a rare and precious quality of Sanbian Po. Not enough TV dramas?
