Job Selection 1. ** Job Restrictions ** - There were fewer positions that could be applied for with a college degree. In the national civil service examination, the proportion of junior college positions that could be applied for was low, and many positions with bachelor's degree or above could also be applied for. In the provincial civil service examination, although there would be a certain number of junior college positions, there were other requirements in addition to academic qualifications. The number of positions that could actually be applied for with a junior college degree was limited. For example, taking the civil service recruitment examination in Henan Province with a large population as an example, a total of 9134 people were recruited. There were 1397 positions that could be applied for with a college degree, accounting for 15% of the total number of recruits. For college students, they could participate in the college entrance examination to obtain a full-time bachelor's degree; for those who had graduated and entered society, they could advance to a bachelor's degree through adult education (self-study examination, adult education, online education, night university, TV University, etc.). After upgrading their academic qualifications, the scope of positions that could be applied for would be expanded, and they might have more advantages in the development of civil servant positions, because some promotion positions had requirements for academic qualifications (such as the promotion of deputy section-level leaders in towns and villages, and the minimum academic qualifications for young officials were undergraduate). At the same time, most of the selection examinations required a bachelor's degree before they could apply. 2. ** Review and prepare for exams ** - The civil service examination content usually did not have a corresponding course in the university. Regardless of the level of education, everyone competed at the same starting line. However, junior college students might have relatively weak learning ability, so they had to recognize this deficiency and spend more time and energy reviewing. You can improve your knowledge level through online courses and other resources. The preparation content includes administrative professional ability test, application and other related subjects. How long does it take to prepare for the college civil service exam?
There was no fixed standard for the preparation time required for the civil service examination. It depended on many factors. If it was a public examination novice, it was best to prepare for three months or more. During this process, he had to make sure that he was familiar with the question type, time, ideas, and skills of the target exam. He also had to set aside time to focus on making up for his shortcomings and practice in stages. If one had a deep knowledge base, strong learning ability, and a suitable learning method, the preparation time might be shorter. However, if one's foundation was poor or their learning ability was not strong, they might need more time to prepare. At the same time, it was also necessary to consider whether it was an on-the-job preparation or a full-time preparation. If university students had more courses, similar to on-the-job preparation, they would have less time to study and would need a longer preparation time. If they were fresh graduates and could devote themselves to preparing for the exam, similar to full-time preparation, they could have more time and energy to prepare for the exam, and the preparation time might be relatively short. For examinees who had been preparing for the exam for many years, the preparation time was about a month. This month could be used to brush questions, strengthen the weak sections, and carry out real question simulation training. Read more exciting novels for free

Take the national network exam or the civil service exam
The State Power grid and civil servants were both very attractive career choices. There were many differences between the two and they needed to be considered comprehensively. Judging from the competition, although both of them were expanding, the number of applicants was also increasing. In 2024, more than 2.6 million people registered for the national civil service, with only 39600 people in demand, and about 66 people competed for one position. In 2024, more than 900,000 people registered for the State Council, with more than 20,000 people admitted, and about 41 people competed for one position. Under the premise of ensuring the landing rate, the competition for the power grid examination was less than that for the civil service examination. In terms of the content of the examination, the two examination time was similar, both in December and April, and the national examination and the national network examination content overlap is not high, except for the line test part of the assessment content is similar, the rest of the written examination content is completely different, if the preparation at the same time, the pressure is relatively greater. In terms of recruitment conditions, the State grid only recruited fresh graduates, and the requirements for professionalism and age were relatively strict; civil servants recruited fresh/previous graduates, with a wide range of specialties and a relatively loose age requirement. In terms of the nature of the unit, civil servants were administrative personnel who exercised administrative power and provided public services. The State Council was a state-owned energy enterprise and was responsible for the power business. In terms of work content, civil servants covered many aspects such as policy formulation, while State Power grid employees worked around the power system. In terms of salary, different positions in the State grid had different salaries. There were also many positions in the civil service, and different positions had different salaries. In terms of job stability, both were jobs with high stability. If it was difficult to make a choice, he could be like Zhang Wei. He could seriously prepare for the civil service examination without giving up his current job.
