Nie Yuan, Zhang Luyi, TV Series
Nie Yuan and Zhang Luyi co-starred in the spy war drama, The Forerunner. In the early 1930s, the underground party in Shanghai was severely damaged. Ma Tianmu (Zhang Lu), an underground party member, and Tang Xianping (Nie Yuan), a classmate who participated in the secret service organization "Renaissance Society", had a wonderful contest. The characters in the play had the taste of "Infernal Affairs." The two protagonists used to be comrades-in-arms, but now they were enemies. This confrontation between the two heroes was full of conflict. The script had a strong logic, and it was vividly reflected in the scenes of escorting Little Girl Zero and Chen Lie out of Shanghai. At the same time, the scale of the drama was hard enough, including traitors, Japanese spies and other character elements, and many forces gathered in Shanghai. The drama was aired on October 22, 2021 on Beijing TV, iQiyi, and QQ.
