Self-Portrait Exhibition of Children in Preschools
There were many types and characteristics of self-portraits for kindergarten children. Some of the works were inspired by children's picture books, such as the works inspired by Tooth Street. The children were careful and patient when drawing, and the content was rich. Some children showed unique creativity when drawing self-portraits. For example, some children stuck their faces on the drawing paper and drew along the outline. From the style of the works, young children might not have enough painting knowledge, lack three-dimensional concepts and training, so most of them could only draw flat characters. For example, some three or four-year-olds painted themselves and their mothers, simply sketching the image in their hearts, and might even be quite different from the actual appearance. However, from the child's point of view, these works showed their innocence. There were also some kindergarten children's self-portraits that showed the child's observational skills. For example, some works could show the young author's sunny and cheerful characteristics. Although there were only a few simple strokes, they were very vivid. There were also works that could show the child's thoughts through some details. For example, a little girl added a mobile phone to make the painting more like her mother to reflect her mother's daily love of playing with the mobile phone. These self-portraits were not only a reflection of the children's painting skills, but also reflected their imagination, creativity, and inner world. Read more exciting novels for free
A self-portrait in a novel
There was a novel called Self-Portrait by the French writer Edouard Levy, which was published in 2014. This novel was a sister novel to Suicide. It was a non-divided novel. There was only one paragraph from beginning to end. Often, one sentence was a very personal and subjective opinion, involving what one had seen, heard, done, thought, likes, dislikes, and so on. The first and second sentences were mostly sentences that had no logical connection. It was as if they wrote whatever they thought of. The content was very fragmented. If " Suicide " was the result of the author's inability to reconcile with the outside world, then " Self-Portrait " was the beginning. The inability to reconcile with oneself could be seen as a presupposition for " Suicide " and also a " presupposition " for the direction of one's own life. It was a work full of wisdom. Even though he gave up on narration and used the most direct and unadorned statements, Edward Levy still showed his whimsical ideas, sense of humor, sensitivity to language, and philosophical depth from time to time. Read more exciting novels for free
