From the opening ceremony, it was expressed with "building a community of human destiny" as the core, and adhered to the creative principle of "simplicity, safety, and brilliance". Director Zhang Yimou's unique design idea combined Li Bai's poem " Snowflakes on Yanshan Mountain are as big as a mat " and the western saying " No two snowflakes in the world are the same ". Through a snowflake, he conveyed the common feelings of mankind and showed the grand idea of building a community of human destiny. Every staff member involved, like the guide Ma Hui, put in a lot of effort from the selection to the perfect performance at the opening ceremony. This reflected the dedication of many staff members to the Winter Olympics. On the field, athletes from all over the world showed their strength and elegance. They challenged the limits on the ice and snow, demonstrating the struggle and progress of the Olympic spirit. Every jump and slide was a display of the athletes 'long-term training results. The sweat and hard work behind them were admirable. From the perspective of sustainable development, the concept of "Green Olympics" runs through from beginning to end. In terms of venue construction, they should make full use of existing resources to avoid waste; green ecological construction such as Jingzhang High-speed Rail and Jingli High-speed Rail would facilitate public travel and be environmental friendly; in terms of technological innovation, carbon dioxide transcritical direct cooling and ice making would improve efficiency and reduce energy consumption, and the cross-regional green electricity trading mechanism would provide clean energy for the Winter Olympics. This was not only a practice of China's concept of sustainable development, but also a positive attitude to the world in dealing with environmental issues. The closing ceremony was equally spectacular, filled with warmth, enthusiasm, gratitude, and farewell. It was not only a farewell to the Winter Olympics, but also a vision for the future.
