The meaning of the killing of the leader of the Kung Fu Crocodile Gang
The killing of the leader of the Gator Gang had many implications. Firstly, it showed that there was always someone better than him. The leader of the Gator Gang thought highly of himself at first, seeing himself as the boss of the market, the leader of the gang, and even the police. However, when the Axe Gang appeared, although he was not afraid, his legs were cut off by the Axe Gang in the end, and the gang fell apart. It warned people not to be too conceited because there might be stronger opponents. Secondly, from the perspective of the change of power in the movie, it reflected the change of power. The leader of the Gator Gang was once famous. Under his rule, the Gator Gang was arrogant and despotic. However, with the strong intervention of the Axe Gang, his power quickly collapsed. It symbolized that in some environments, the change of power between the old and the new was cruel and rapid. Thirdly, through the plot setting of the Gator Gang's boss being killed and the entire Gator Gang being wiped out, including the strategies used by the Axe Gang to wipe out the Gator Gang, such as splitting up, killing the underlings first, bribing the police to cut off their retreat, etc., it reflected the cruelty and complexity of the competition between gangs in the Jianghu world constructed by the movie.
