Kunqu opera is famous
Kunqu opera was famous for the following reasons: ** 1. Long history and lasting influence ** 1. ** Long history ** - Kunqu opera originated in Kunshan, Suzhou, China in the 14th century and has a history of more than 600 years. Starting from the end of the Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, after the accumulation of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it formed a complete and exquisite system of music, performances, and plays. In this long process of development, Kunqu opera continued to evolve and develop, going through many stages from Kunshan opera to the formation of Kunqu opera. - For example, during the Jiajing period, after the innovation of Wei Liangfu and Liang Chenyu, Kunshan opera absorbed the strengths of Beiqu, Haiyan opera and Yiyang opera, forming the "Shuimo tune", thus forming Kunqu opera. Liang Chenyu brought the legend of " The Story of Washing Silk ", which was created based on the new Kunshan tune, onto the stage in the form of Kunqu opera. Kunqu opera officially entered the field of drama performance, and then went to the whole country. Since the middle of the Ming Dynasty, it had dominated the China theater for nearly 300 years. 2. ** Has a profound influence on other plays ** - Many operas developed on the basis of Kunqu, such as Beijing opera, Henan opera, Pingju opera, Huangmei opera, etc. These operas combined other opera elements on the basis of Kunqu opera, forming a unique opera style. Therefore, Kunqu opera was called the "ancestor of all operas, the teacher of all operas" and the elegant title of "mother of China opera". ** 2. Unique artistic features ** 1. ** The performance is comprehensive ** - Kunqu opera is a combination of singing, dancing, fighting, martial arts, and many other forms of performance. Actors needed to show a variety of skills in their performances. For example, in terms of singing, they needed to be elegant and tactful. In terms of performance, they needed to pay attention to detail. A character's emotions and movements had to be conveyed to the audience through precise performance. - The roles of Kunqu opera were generally divided into five categories: Sheng, Dan, Jing, Mo, and Chou. In modern times, more than 20 kinds of families had been formed, and different roles had their own performance programs. 2. ** Unique music and accompaniment ** - Kunqu opera uses drums and boards to control the rhythm of singing, with the flute and three-string as the main accompaniment instruments, and its singing pronunciation is "Zhongzhou rhyme". This unique music and accompaniment form, as well as the special singing voice, together constituted the unique artistic style of Kunqu opera. ** 3.
