I recall an instance where I was trading with a merchant in Fallout 3. I accidentally traded my best weapon for a tin can. I didn't realize it until later. When I went back to the merchant, he just shrugged. It was so stupid but also quite funny in a way. I had to go on this big adventure to get my weapon back.
A really memorable one was when I entered a building full of mole rats. I had a grenade launcher and when I fired it, the rats went flying everywhere. Some of them even got stuck on the ceiling. It was like a really strange and funny mole rat circus.
In Fallout 3, there was a quest where I had to follow this really slow - moving robot. It kept getting stuck on rocks and little bumps. I was trying to be all stealthy behind it, but it was taking forever. Eventually, I just gave up and walked in front of it. It didn't seem to care at all. That whole situation was just comical.
A memorable one was when my character got stuck in a glitch where he was constantly jumping up and down like a crazy kangaroo. I had no idea how to fix it at first, so I just let him do his thing while other NPCs stared in confusion. It was quite the sight.
There was a time when I was building my settlement. I accidentally placed a bed right on top of a power generator. When I tried to sleep in it, my character got electrocuted and his hair stood on end. The whole situation was so absurd that it made me laugh out loud. Also, my companions had some really funny remarks about it.
In Fallout 3, I once saw a super mutant trying to fit into a tiny car. It was like he thought it was some sort of new shelter. He was squeezing himself in, and his legs were sticking out. It was just too funny. I watched for a while until he got frustrated and started hitting the car.
The Vault Dweller is definitely one of the most memorable. They are the main character and the one who goes through all the challenges. Tandi from the Shady Sands is also memorable. She is a strong leader there.
In 2020, my local community organized a drive - by birthday parade for a 90 - year - old neighbor. The cars were all decorated with balloons and signs. But one car's balloons got loose and started flying all over the place. It was chaos but also really funny. It made the old man laugh a great deal.
One memorable one is about a man who left his beloved old hat to his parrot in his will. The parrot would then perch on the hat and cackle as if it knew it was now the owner of this special hat.
Well, there's a story where a person called 911 because their ice cream cone melted too fast. They were so distraught over losing their treat that they thought it was a major crisis. Another is when someone called because their cat was stuck on the roof, but the cat came down right as the firefighters arrived. It was hilarious.
The one where a cat got stuck in a box and thought it was being sneaky while everyone could see it. It was quite funny.
A steward in a small town library had an interesting incident. He was shelving books when he accidentally knocked over a whole stack of large, heavy books. The noise was so loud that it startled everyone in the library. He then slipped on one of the fallen books and landed in a rather ungraceful heap. Everyone had a good laugh, and he later joked about how the books were trying to keep him from working too hard.
A memorable one is when a Winston player went into his Primal Rage form at the wrong time. He thought the enemy team was about to attack, but they were actually retreating. So he ended up chasing after their backs, growling and swinging his arms, looking really silly as they just ran away from him without any real fight.
