Ginny was in the Forbidden Forest, crying silently. She had lost her way while looking for some rare potion ingredients. Harry, who was also in the forest for some other reason, heard her. He rushed to her side. 'Ginny! Why are you crying?' Ginny was startled at first but then burst into fresh tears. 'I'm so stupid. I got lost.' Harry took her hand. 'It's not stupid. The forest can be confusing. Come on, I'll get you out of here.' As they walked, Harry told her funny stories about his own misadventures in the forest, making Ginny laugh through her remaining tears.
In the Gryffindor common room, Ginny sat on the sofa, her face streaked with tears. Harry quickly walked over and sat beside her. 'Ginny, what's wrong?' he asked gently. Ginny just shook her head and sobbed harder. Harry put his arm around her and said, 'You can tell me anything. I'm here for you.' Ginny finally looked up and said, 'I'm just so worried about everything, the future, exams...' Harry smiled softly. 'We'll face it all together. You're so strong, Ginny. Remember all the times you've been brave before? This is no different.' Ginny leaned into him, feeling a bit better already.
One day in the Hogwarts corridors, Ginny was crying because she had overheard some mean comments about her family. Harry saw her and immediately led her to an empty classroom. He wiped away her tears with his sleeve. 'Ginny, don't listen to them. Your family is amazing. You are amazing. Those people are just jealous. You have a loving family, brave brothers, and a great sister. And you've got me too. I'll always stand up for you and your family.' Ginny sniffled and said, 'Thank you, Harry. You always know how to make me feel better.' Harry grinned. 'That's what friends are for, right?'
