The setting of 'The Alchemist' is quite diverse. It begins in Andalusia, Spain, which has a very distinct, rustic and traditional feel. The protagonist, Santiago, then travels to the African continent, specifically Morocco. There, the bustling markets, the different cultures and languages create a vivid and chaotic setting. Later, as he ventures further into the Sahara desert, the vastness, the harshness of the environment, with its extreme heat and sand dunes, play a significant role. The desert is not just a physical space but also a place of spiritual discovery in the story.

The setting of 'The Alchemist' includes Spain, where Santiago starts his journey. In Spain, we can imagine the small villages with their shepherding traditions. Then he goes to Africa. In Africa, the markets are full of colors, smells, and various people trading goods. The desert is a major part of the setting too. It's a place of solitude and self - discovery for Santiago. The contrast between the busy, noisy places like the markets and the silent, vast desert is really interesting in the novel.

GlaringError here! As I have already mentioned in my author review I am restating it here since I am getting tons of comments about it, that I am more of a reader myself than a writer, I made this novel in an attempt to capture my fantasy world residing in my mind into words.. Writing is new for me.. The premise of my novel is inspired by many great works that I have loved over the years. And some elements I have in my novel that are slightly similar to them but it's just the skeleton of it, the real meat of the plot is entirely my own cooking. Some of the influence that is more noticeable is from The Runesmith (By Kuropon), The King's Avatar (By Butterfly Blue) and Shadow Slave (By Guiltythree). I have immense respect for these legends and I can only hope to follow in their footsteps. To all those who comment just by judging the name, at least give it a chance before letting your opinions be known. Thank you.

GlaringError hier! Danke.
