Who are the most written - about characters in Black Butler slash fanfiction?
Sebastian and Ciel are by far the most written - about characters. Their relationship is at the core of the series, and in slash fanfiction, writers love to explore the romantic or at least deeply emotional aspects of their connection. Their contrasting personalities, with Sebastian being a powerful demon and Ciel a young, determined earl, make for a lot of interesting storylines.
There are also a few fanfictions that involve Alois Trancy in slash relationships, often with Claude Faustus. Since Alois has his own dark past and complex personality, and Claude is his butler, similar to the Sebastian - Ciel dynamic, it can be an interesting area for writers to explore, though it is not as widespread as the main pairings in Black Butler slash fanfiction.
Besides Sebastian and Ciel, there are also some fanfictions that focus on the relationship between Grell Sutcliff and Sebastian. Grell has a very strong and somewhat obsessive infatuation with Sebastian in the original series, and in slash fanfiction, this can be developed into a more complex relationship. However, it is not as common as the Sebastian - Ciel pairings.
