It depends. Realistic fiction can present a theme such as the struggle for justice or the power of friendship. However, it can also have a thesis, like arguing that society's expectations limit individual freedom within the framework of a realistic story. So, it has the potential to be either or both.

Realistic fiction can be both a theme and a thesis. A theme is a broad idea or concept that runs throughout a work, while a thesis is a specific argument or point the author is trying to make. In realistic fiction, the overall story could be centered around a theme like survival or coming of age, but it could also have a thesis statement about the nature of reality or the impact of certain circumstances.

I'm also a new author who only wrote the story because purely for my own pleasure. Be warn though as the story progress and development is very slow. I started writing this story out of spit of not having anything interesting to read, do expect some cliche since this author likes it. *** [UPDATED!]The characters design followed by tiny bits information(Be warn as it would be a spoiler to the new readers!): http://imgur.com/gallery/twsIaJe If you like the story, please give some power stone, any will be appreciated! How can we identify the theme in realistic fiction?

One way is to look at the characters' main goals and struggles. For example, if a character in a realistic fiction story is constantly striving to fit in at a new school, the theme could be about the search for acceptance. Another way is to analyze the overall mood and tone of the story. If the story has a melancholic tone and deals with loss, the theme might be related to grief and moving on.

How can pancakes be used as a theme in realistic fiction?

They can also represent a shared experience. For example, in a story about a group of friends who meet every Sunday for pancake breakfast. Through the act of making and eating pancakes together, their relationships grow, and different plotlines can develop, such as conflicts within the group or personal growth of the characters. Pancakes here are the common thread that ties the characters and the story together in a realistic way.

Can a history masters thesis be fiction?

Typically, no. A history master's thesis should adhere to historical facts. It's about researching and presenting historical events, periods, or figures in an accurate and academic way. Fiction, on the other hand, often involves elements of imagination and creativity that go beyond what can be proven historically. However, some theses might use fictional accounts as supplementary materials to illustrate a point about historical perception or cultural memory, but the core of the thesis still has to be firmly rooted in historical research.
