Team Happy, who is Ye Xiu?
Ye Xiu was the male lead in Butterfly Blue's eSports novel "The King's Avatar" and its derivative works. He was well-versed in all classes in Glory and had the reputation of being the Glory textbook, the Tactician (the only attacker among the four Tacticians), and the God of Glory. He was the first and only team to create a three-time championship dynasty in Glory history. He was awarded the "MVP" title four times and was voted the "Best Partner" with Su Mucheng from Season 4 to Season 7. In Season 10, he had a 45-match winning streak from the regular season to the finals (37 consecutive wins in the regular season), setting a record in Glory history. Finally, he became the leader of the China national team in the first Glory World Invitational Tournament. In 2013, Ye Xiu won the most popular male lead award on Chinese website. On May 29th, 2014, more than 20,000 fans "celebrated" his birthday on Weibo and made it to the top five of the hot search list. He also made it to the top of the men's team of the doki National Man God and Goddess Competition on the QQ video. He became the first two-dimensional character on doki's overall popularity list. In the development of the story, he had once been expelled from the club and left the pro scene to become an Internet cafe manager. However, he had started anew in Glory's tenth server after recruiting experts. In the end, he had led Team Happy to defeat his old team, Excellent Era, and obtained the ticket to enter the pro scene. If Ye Xiu retired, Team Happy would be finished.
After Ye Xiu retired, Team Happy wasn't completely finished. Even though Ye Xiu had retired, the experience and team spirit he left behind still affected Team Happy. The other members of Team Happy, such as Su Mucheng and Fang Rui, were still in high form. They would continue to represent Team Happy in the competition. In addition, Team Happy was also constantly replenishing new talents to maintain the team's competitiveness. Although Ye Xiu's retirement was a huge loss for Team Happy, Team Happy still had the ability to continue moving forward without Ye Xiu. If Ye Xiu retired, Team Happy would be finished.
This sentence was not accurate. In the novel " Full Time Expert," Team Happy's core character was Ye Xiu, but the team's success didn't just depend on individual ability. Although Ye Xiu was an outstanding pro player, his retirement didn't mean that Happy was finished. In fact, after Ye Xiu retired, Team Happy performed well in the Challenger League and successfully advanced to the Pro League. This showed that Team Happy had achieved a certain level of success in terms of team building, tactical planning, player development, and so on. They also had a group of outstanding players and coaches. There were many similar examples in real life. For example, Manchester United used to have very good players, such as Beckham and Rooney, but the team's success did not only depend on the individual ability of these players, but also the overall strength of the team, tactical arrangements, coaching team, and other factors. Therefore, even if some players retired or left the team, the team could still improve their strength and competitiveness in other ways. Ye Xiu and Happy
Ye Xiu had a close relationship with Team Happy in Full Expert. Ye Xiu was the core of Team Happy. He was the captain of Team Happy, and with his proficiency in all classes in Glory, his top-notch skills, and tactical awareness, he had gradually developed Team Happy. Team Happy was officially formed in Season 9 of the Glory Pro League. They entered the Pro League through the Amateur Challenger League, and in Season 10, they won the Pro League championship. Ye Xiu played a crucial role in this process. He had attracted many members with distinct personalities to his side. For example, he had dug out potential players like Qiao Yifan, who had been overlooked, and even allowed Tang Rou, who had originally been uninterested in Glory, to join the team. Team Happy's name originated from the Internet Cafe run by the team's boss, Chen Guo. The boss, Chen Guo, became the team's boss after meeting Ye Xiu. Ye Xiu's influence in Team Happy was enormous. Not only was he the captain, but he was also the source of mental support and faith for the team members. For example, in the match against Huang Shaotian, even if Lord Grim was at a disadvantage, Team Happy still trusted Ye Xiu unconditionally to turn the tide. However, after Ye Xiu retired, Happy's strength was greatly affected. Su Mucheng had replaced Ye Xiu as captain, but she was far behind Ye Xiu in terms of commanding, operation, and strategy execution. Team Happy faced many challenges against strong opponents like Samsara and Tiny Herb. It would be extremely difficult for them to win the championship again, or even match Excellent Era's three consecutive championships.
